Although there is a lot of football that needs to be played and a lot can happen over the next four weeks but how confident are you today if we had to face a Bills team in cold weather and a healthy Josh Allen? If the game was tomorrow
Does Tua’s game plan change in cold weather? Does McDaniel have the balls to run the ball more? Can we contain Allen and force him to throw?

Really hard to win in Buffalo in winter. Really really hard. A lot of things would have to go right including getting some of our guys healthy. I'm not so worried about Tua in cold as any quarterback in inclement weather. Hopefully Wilson gets up to speed quick and takes over. Ground game, limited penalties and turnovers is how you win up north.

The offense is hitting its stride with the o-line beginning to Gel and the RBs starting to make gains with the wide-zone scheme. The defense needs to get healthy on the back end and begin to get pressure with the front 4 - the addition of Chubb should help. Good teams start their push in the back half of the season, and I'm hoping we can stay healthy and evolve. In the past few years, we've been knocking on the door to the playoffs and wilted at the end - I'm "hoping" this year is different.

If we dont run the football, it will end badly.

It’s not about can Tua play in the cold or not. We simply can’t pass our way to grander pastures.

Those cold weather games need some ball control to help the defense and limit sort drives by the offense.

If it is a bright, crisp, calm day, we have a good shot to beat them.
If it is snowing, or raining, might as well play the back ups and save the vets for the playoff game.

Over the next four games, I hope McDaniel really puts an emphasis on the running game with Mostert and Wilson splitting carries. I want McDaniel to even go for it on 4th and two and put the pressure on the OL to have to open the holes up for our RBs. The running game is as much about ATTITUDE as it is Execution by the five big uglies up front. I want McDaniel to help forge that Attitude that we need to have in Buffalo and beyond!

I saw Allen was active for tomorrow's game.

Is he starting?

I think Buffalo would be making a mistake to play him personally. Especially with a week of no practice.

You can't just go fling it 40 times, with no practice all week with that type of injury.

Doesn’t make sense to me either. They’re not undefeated right now. Take a game or two off until he’s right and play for the season. He gets hurt it bodes well for us. However, I never root for an injury even to an opposing player

I just hope we go into the Buf game within striking distance. A vikings win tomorrow would go a long way. We are probably going to lose at least one more before we play them, so we need them to lose one. Then at least that game would be meaningful. To answer the OP question, I don't like our chances. I wouldn't be betting the fins on the ML for sure.

I'm not going to worry about that game until it gets here, but Buffalo would be smart to sit Allen this week. I don't see him missing much time, regardless. Hopefully, he's not 100% the rest of the way. We're going to need all breaks we can get when we play up there. They will be fired up to play us after losing to us once before. And If the weather is ****, idt, we have a good chance to win. I hope I'm wrong, but they are good at home and so far Tua has yet to prove he can win in bad conditions.

Nobody passes the ball well in cold weather. Defense, special teams and ball control wins in cold weather.

I like the Vikings in this match up. Allen will likely aggravate his injury
