Bills strongly considering claiming Merriman

Yea I mean with both of these top guys hitting the wire, theres too much upside not to pick them up IMO. Good move for the Bills.....1 thing that may hold non-contenders from claiming Moss is fear he would pout like a little girl.
 
If healthy, Merriman, Pozlunsy and Andra Davis are a pretty decent LB core.

Disagree...No shot he signs a long term deal in Buffalo.
Do the Bills have any clue what they're doing? They try and run a 3-4 and 6 weeks into the season they switch to a 4-3. Thats unheard of. Now they're going to claim a 3-4 LB to play in a 4-3 defense? Makes no sense. That team is going to suck for a while. They have no direction.

Davis is average on a good day. Poz is hurt every other week. Merriman doesn't fit what they're doing

Merriman's talent was a result of heavy PED use, Pozlusny is always hurt, and Davis had one decent year in Denver. Their LB group is straight up garbage. Buffalo is going 0-16 this season, they are a bad football team. In fact, bad isn't even the right word. They're pathetic.

The reason why they moved back to 43 was because they had no one to play OLB in the 34...

Now they have that guy..Even if he is average...he is still better than Reggie Torbor..

Look for Merrimen as a situaional pass rusher if they will stay with the 43 the rest of the year..

Believe it or not the Jets gave more 4 down linemen looks last year after Jenkins went down and the Pats did the same thing the first year they won the super bowl.
 
I'd rather sit out the rest of the season than get picked up by the Bills. Why would they want him when they're 0-7 and mostly likely will walk out the team at the end of the season. He is not gonna wanna re-sign with them. It makes no sense.
