I know this is old news, but I had missed just how big a windfall Buffalo gets for playing a few games in Toronto. I knew that playing in Toronto would bring the Bills some more revenue, but this line caught my eye:
If a team is going to bring in that much cash for moving one regular season game per year, I wonder how long it will be before other teams follow suit. I could see San Diego playing once a year at Mexico City, Seattle in Portland or Vancouver, Jacksonville in Birmingham, etc.

The deal is already paying off for the Bills. Rogers is committed to paying the Bills $78 million -- more than double the team's calculated 2006 operating income -- to essentially lease the eight games.
