Then there are the types that just "know" he will get injured soon as if he's a little runt like Tua where everyone can see it coming a mile away but heh, we just have to sign him now long-term, it's only getting more expensive to wait and sign a little injury prone QB with no playoff wins and very few wins period against the better teams year to year. It’s fair to say that Allen puts himself in higher risk situations as far injuries go, but as you point out, it’s not as if he’s a small dude who has proven to be fragile. People here often use Cam Newton as an example of what will happen to Allen, but I don’t think those people watched Elway successfully play that way for 15 years.

That post had nothing to do with the Dolphins! Who gives a rats ass if the Dolphins made the playoffs the last few years because they lost in the first round. Again, reaching the playoffs and going to the second round is not choking.
It's part of what is now a winning tradition. That's called AFC top 5 or 6, long term. Top 2, three years ago.

The Raiders were in 5 or 6 conference championships before they reached SB and beat Minnesota. That's called dominance. That's called top 3 or 4 ,long term.

Choking - what a fan says about a team succeeding better than the team he lives vicariously through. It's currently the Dolphins who are choking obviously.
And the Jaguars.
And the Titans.

I wouldn't call losing to the back to back SB winner choking. I hate to admit it but the Bills are really close and will probably win a SB in the next 5 years.

Sorry I disagree. When you have been as good as the Bills have the last few years and keep coming up short in the playoffs it's choking under the pressure. You think they are happy just to make the playoffs? The goal is to win the Super Bowl!

And the Bills are making more money for the owner when they make the playoffs.
And at 3-0, that money is going to keep rolling in. Even if they lose next week.

Fans worry about super bowls. Owners are happy going 4-13 as long as dumb fans keep paying big bucks

A Super Bowl title is the goal for everybody otherwise there is no reason to play. Owners already have plenty of money or they wouldn't be owners in the first place.
