#BillsMafiaTakeover

I'm from WNY originally. I can honestly say 2 things about Bills fans. They are easily the most dedicated fans in the NFL. I do however think that's because there's **** all else to do up there. And the Dolphins will always be the Bills' most hated rivals because the Bills went 0 for the 70's against us.

Say what you will about Ralph Wilson and the Toronto series..... But Ralph bought that franchise for 35 grand and they were worth 1.4 billion when he took a dirt nap. I would say the ****ing guy was pretty shrewd.

I'm happy for the fans in Buffalo and I will root for them 14 games a year. I just hope they lose this week.

Go Phins

Good post.

My wife is from Orchard Park, her family are die hard Bills fans. So in 2006 we decided to take a trip up for the Phins game.

Worst decision I ever made. They open the parking lots for tailgaters on Friday! I have never seen more incoherently drunk people in one stadium in my life, i was completely baffled by how drunk these people were. My wife wore her Bills colors and I had a Marino jersey on. From the moment we stepped foot near the Ralph the heckling began, it was fun at first but then it turned ugly. There were women walking up to my wife calling her a C*%t for bringing me to the game and i was routinley called a homosexual by the fans for being from Miami. I seriously could not beleive how horrible the fans were.

Once i took my seat (lower bowl, 50 yard line) i was pelted numerous times with all sorts of stuff, pretzelts, hot dogs, paper, cups, beer. Had to take a leak so I headed to the bathroom which us just a big ol latrine, I had dudes purposesfully trying to spray me with their unrine to the point I was almost in a full blown fist fight outnumbered 10-1.

If anyones remember this game, we lost 21-0. Joey Harrington was our QB, Saban our coach. We had just beat the pats 21-0 in our house the week before. It was a cold and freezing rainy day that I will never forget. Worst day for me ever as a Dolphins fan.

I'm surprised you didn't get your ass kicked.

Most rival fans don't wear their jerseys to the Ralph anymore.

I watched a Panthers fan get his ass beat bad at the week 2 Carolina-Buffalo game last year at the Ralph. I also pulled a Bills fan of a Vikings fan a couple years prior and stopped a Patriot fan from being pummeled in the Jim Kelly Club (2nd deck).

Most opposing fans tailgate with their jersey and then take it off before going in the stadium.

Not something you should be proud of...

I'm NOT.

I think its disgusting and I try to help when I can.

I always tell opposing fans walking into the stadium to take their jerseys off and put it into their bag or something.

LMAO you can't even take over your own stadium and you think you can take over ours?

Hilarious.

Bills fans are 10x more serious that Dolphin fans. Maybe it's because we have less to do up here than in Miami, but it's still true.

Pretty sad watching thousands of empty seats at your stadium during the friggin season opener.

I agree with everything you said except your DL vs our OL.

You may want to look stuff up before sprouting crap. Buffalo has one of the better OL in the league.

As someone who lives in the Rochester area, this post is HILARIOUS. Your Bills continuously have blacked out home games at the end of the season when your piece of **** fans stop buying tickets.

I live in Syracuse and use to go out every year for this game as well. I don't any longer for this reason. It's crazy - I've been pelted w/ balls of ice more times than I can count. Been pushed around I don't know how many times. You would think me just being there with my wife would make a difference but it doesn't change a thing. I'm all for some good smack talk believe me but the fact that I won't step foot in there because I can't cheer for my team is ridiculous....

I've already explained this and others agreed but I'll do it again just for you.

Teams like Miami, NE, NY, Dallas etc are in big cities and have large corporate sponsors buying THOUSANDS of tickets. So the actual FANS don't have to buy as many.

1) The Bills do NOT have those corporate sponsors buying tickets, so its ALL the fans.

2) Miami in December can be 60 degrees and sunny. Buffalo in December is 10 degrees and snowy. There is a big difference.

3) Let's take a look at the ACTUAL ATTENDANCE to games. Buffalo on average had 91% filled capacity last season (2013). Miami had 85% filled capacity. 6% lower than Buffalo AND your team was BETTER and in playoff contention going into December

The Bills are consistently ranked in the TOP 10 of fans. Dolphins fans are consistently ranked in the BOTTOM 10.

Bills fan here.
Are you serious?
Biggest game for the Bills since the last Super Bowl.
Jim Kelly, Mary Wilson, Andre Reed HoF induction, new owner everyone in Buffalo wanted, RALPH WILSON, renovated stadium...
The Ralph will be electric on sunday.

and on top of all that Kelvin sheppard (who has gone down as the greatest trade One Bills Drive has ever made) is your starting MLB?????????????

With all the respect I can muster, I humbly suggest you should just enjoy the game and forget any possibility of taking over the crowd.

I stopped reading at Bills fan here.....

That's just obscene. The NFL should follow suit of Seattle's lead in their opener vs Green Bay where they placed undercover officer's in Packer's gear to deter unnecessary behavior towards visiting fans.

We don't leave early.
After a decade of misery we buy the ticket and take the ride.

You are off your meds if you think that Steelers game is in our top 20. It wasn't as big as the last Steelers game when Stevie Johnson dropped the game winner.

I'm tellin' ya. this game is monumental for Bills fans.

I live in Western NY, if the fans buy tickets and take the ride, why are 2-3 games blacked out every year? BC the sizzle of the team falls apart come November and people don;t want to sit through the harsh winter days of Lake Erie.

There aren't 2-3 blackouts every year. What are you talking about? The Bills only had more than 1 blackout three times in their 60 year history.

I don't know who Dolphin fans are talking at all. Corporations buy thousands of your tickets before the season starts and you still don't reach fill levels the Bills do. The Bills fill % last season was 91% -- The Dolphins were 85%.

AND the Dolphins had a better team AND the Dolphins were in playoff contention. Still the Bills had more fans at the game.

So as a dedicated Bills fan you're going to tell me that fans don't leave the stadium early. Don't worry when they start flooding out early Sunday I'll video it for ya.

Bet you he does not come back to the board, when the Bills lose. He will be back only when the next game happens and only if they are still winning, so I am going to predict that we won't see this guy again, after this Sunday.
