Has anyone heard how negotiations are going on his contract? Is he even close to being signed? Or did I miss that he has already signed?

haven't heard anything. expect his signing sometime before a week from friday :)

So he's the only 3rd rounder in the NFL who has not signed yet? And we have our 1st and 2nd rounder signed but not a 3rd rounder? Weird.

I'm gonna guess they're hung up on the "offset language"

Whys it matter? Is he even in miami? He will sign the day camp starts

Billy needs to learn to play ball. He appears to be getting very bad advice from his Agent or maybe his Dad, who I understand was a former NFL RB. He needs to understand that Dawn Aponte is not going to negotiate the offset language. She didn't do it for Tannehill, Jordan or James (and as 1st rounders, they are a bigger deal than a 3rd round pick). Dawn knows precisely what she is doing and this is her field of expertise.
I can't help but think that Billy's Dad is calling the shots and he doesn't understand that there are consequences. Dawn will not roll over.

For Miami Dolphins fans, one of those should already be known: offensive lineman Billy Turner. Joining Turner in the unsigned group are Cleveland Browns' cornerback Justin Gilbert (8th overall), Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan (11th), and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee (39th). Turner was the 67th overall selection, going to Miami in the third round.

Just a few players left unsigned considering their lack of leverage would be shocked if any remain unsigned by first few days of camp openings.

Not sure the $ differential.

But if it's worth something, I believe the major hold up is Turner and his agent want LT money.

Sure, 3rd round LT money, but I would assume (not 100% on this) that it's a bump up from OG money.

Played LT in college and draft had him listed as a LT yet, Dolphins slot him as a OG.
