First off I am going to say that I don't project trades because it is too complicated and hard to predict. with that here it is.
  1. Oakland - Calvin Johnson, WR Georgia Tech. Al Davis will not be able to get over the fact of getting the best player in the draft and pissing of Gruden at the same time.
  2. Detroit - Gaines Adams, DE Clemson. I am not saying they won't treade down and still select Adams, but I do think he will be on the Lions next year.
  3. Cleveland - JaMarcus Russell, QB LSU. It is obvious that Phil Savage wants Russell in Cleveland.
  4. Tampa Bay - Joe Thomas, OT Wisconsin. Tampa needs help along the line and they are able to land arguably the best tackle in the draft.
  5. Arizona - Adrian Peterson, RB Oklahoma. Edge was underperforming this last year and Peterson will give them a change of pace back. I also would not be surprised if they reached for Levi Brown here.
  6. Washington - Patrick Willis, LB Ole Miss. This may come as a surprise to many but Snyder tried going after Lance Briggs hard and was uinsuccessful. Willis is worthy of being mentioned here after his remarkable workouts.
  7. Minnesota - LaRon Landry, S LSU. They could go Brady Quinn here but I think if they do it will be to pressure the Dolphins to trade with them. The fins don't call their bluff and they take Landry.
  8. Atlanta - Amobi Okoye, DT Louisville. Petrino knows how good this guy is and he's only 19. They have a need along the DL and missed out on Landry so they take someone Petrino is familiar with.
  9. Miami - Brady Quinn, QB Notre Dame. The Dolphins stand pat and are still able to land their man.
  10. Houston - Joe Staley, OT Central Michigan. Staley has been steadily climbing draft boards since the Senior Bowl and hear's his name called in the top 10.
  11. San Francisco - Adam Carriker, DE Nebraska. The 49ers need some help on the D-line and are able to land a very talented 3-4 De in Carriker.
  12. Buffalo - Leon Hall, CB Michigan. The loss of Clements is going to sting for a while but they try and help it by drafting one of the best corners in the draft.
  13. St. Louis - Jamaal Anderson, DE Arkansas. The Rams could use a good DE opposite Leonard Little and eventually replace him. ANother option here could be one of the WR's or a CB.
  14. Carolina - Reggie Nelson, S Florida. He may be asked to move to Corner in the NFL, but the Panthers could use him either place.
  15. Pittsburgh - Derrelle Revis, CB Pitt. They get a local boy that can help their secondary immediately.
  16. Green Bay - Robert Meachem, WR Tennesee. The Packers could go RB here but with the recent conduct policy being enforced they decide to pass on Lynch. They have some talent at WR, but could use a young playmaker.
  17. Jacksonville - Lawrence Timmons, OLB FLorida St. They need a playmaker in their linebacking corp and hope they get one in Timmons.
  18. Cincinatti - Alan Branch, DT Michigan. They should be moving away from problem players but they can't resist what Branch could bring to the team. He will end up splitting time with Sam Adams if not beating him for his job.
  19. Tennesee - Aaron Ross, CB Texas. The loss of Pac Man makes this a glaring weakness. ROss will be able to provide help in the secondary and on kick returns.
  20. New York Giants - Levi Brown, OT Penn St. They need help on the O-line and are surprised to see Brown last this long.
  21. Denver - Marshawn Lynch, RB Cal. Last year they weren't able to find a real #1 back and they traded Taum Bell this off-season. They could also draft a reciever here.
  22. Dallas - Dwayne Bowe, WR LSU. Terry Glennisn't getting any younger and TO is going to find his way out of town soon enough.
  23. Kansas City - Steve Smith, WR USC. The Chiefs need some help at WR and Smith is a playmaker that will help out whoever their QB is. Croyle or Huard.
  24. New England - Paul Posluzney, OLB Penn St. The Pats need some youth on defense and will get some help from Poz.
  25. New York Jets - Ben Grubbs, OG Auburn. They continue to build a powerful offensive line in selecting Grubbs. They could also look at a DT like Justin Harrell, or OLB Jon Beason.
  26. Philadelphia - Jarvis Moss, DE Florida. Javon Kearse is always injured and it would be nice for them to get a good pass rusher.
  27. New Orleans - Greg Olsen, TE Miami. Olsen should be long gone ny now but if he is on the board the Saints would be glad to add him to their already potent offense.
  28. New England -Chris Houston, CB Arkansas. He keeps getting hammered by the comparisons to Ahmad Carroll, but the Pats don't let him get out of the first and will be a talent playing opposite Asante Samuel.
  29. Baltimore - Ryan Kalil, C USC. Baltimore could use some help on their O-line and are able to draft a replacement for Mike Flynn. They could also go QB here.
  30. San Diego - Ted Ginn Jr., WR Ohio St. The Chargers need a good reciever after the losses of Keenen McCardel and Az Hakim. Ginn will be able to help on special teams as well if they successfully trade Michael Turner.
  31. Chicago - Jon Beason, OLB Miami. With the uncertainty surrounding Lance Briggs they select Beason who should be able to start right away.
  32. Indianapolis - Justin Harrell, DT Tennesee. They struggled against the run badly last year. They could use another good DT. They could also look for a LB if one falls to them.

I just don't see Quinn dropping to us unless we move up. :(

Out of all the mock drafts I've seen, that's my favorite. I also think it's realistic. I personally like Quinn and I'm willing to take a chance on him. But I have a feeling that many GM's don't even consider him a top 5 pick, which works in our favor. All it takes is a few teams to pass on him and he could slip to #9. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it is possible.

I can really see Quinn falling to us at #9 if the Lions and Browns pass on Quinn. I just don't see the Vikings taking Quinn, but may try to convince us they want him so we trade with them. However, if they are serious about taking Quinn at #7 I don't have a problem with trading with the Redskins, we'd probably only have to send them a 3rd round pick because they only have 1 day one pick, and that would be about an equal point value (1600 vs. 1575).

No way Arizona takes AP. Other rthan that it looks decent.
