I have been very quiet about him but I think he is the real deal. If he comes out this year I think we should draft him. He is having a great Bowl game. He reminds me a lot of Andrew Luck.

I think we have a forums for draft threads or did I miss something !

We really need a offensive line to protect our qb......lets draft a QB in the first round.....Mr.Bayless is that you posting on here?

I think he's going to be a good pro but I also think he's going to be long gone by #19.

Not gonna be there. Plus we have a quarterback. No problem with snagging a guy in the fifth this year because some talent will fall, a fifth round qb this year could be like a third rounder in last years draft at quarterback.

No question. Bortles is the goods.

I would try to package Tannebust and the 19th pick to move up to the top and draft Bortles.

If Tannehill is a bust why would someone accept a trade for him and the 19th instead of drafting Bortles?

Yeah, he's got many similarities to Andrew Luck. Like a less polished Andrew Luck. Bigger than Luck and can look erratic at times. He's the antithesis of Ryan Tannehill in that Bortles can have several empty possessions in which you question his accuracy and whether he can vary a pass to fit the requirements of the play, but then you look at the scoreboard and it contains a ton of points for his side.

Very impressive that UCF altered its offense so dramatically for tonight's game. They never run that much read option. Apparently they understood the frailties and laziness of Big 12 defenses in general, and knew that Baylor not only wouldn't be prepared for that type of thing but that they likely wouldn't pose much threat to battering Bortles when he kept the ball.

I still don't understand how Louisville can be preseason Top 10, lose only one time, and narrowly to a team the caliber of UCF, and be third nationally in yards allowed per play, yet be relegated to the Russell Athletic Bowl against the 3-loss flawed Canes. It made for an easy bet but it really screwed up the bowl slotting. Louisville and Bridgewater should have been allowed to take on another top ranked heavyweight, like last year's upset of Florida.

Bortles has the luxury of Storm Johnson as a RB, and his WRs did most of the work on a couple of those TDs tonight. Plus I think he goes back his senior year to up his draft grade, since the NFL advisory considers him a 2nd rd grade.
