Bleacher Report Names Lippett D player of week

That's fantastic. Goes to show the importance of making plays over expecting perfection on every single play.

Lippett now has three picks, which is great. He stepped up and made plays. I'd still give it to Alonso. He made THE play.

Gotta be honest, even though Lippett has all the tools, and even though he got 2 great picks yesterday, giving him D player of the week is pretty misleading. He's still so raw - he got burned a lot, he got flagged a number of times - it wasn't for the picks he would've been a tire fire out there. I mean even Maxwell got a pick yesterday, but no one with eyes would say he had a good game.

When the Saints won the Super Bowl they did it with a great offense and not so great but opportunistic defense. Every player has bad plays but making an impact the way Lippett did more than makes up for them.

Awesome. I gotta admit I never thought this guy had a chance of being converted from a WR to a CB. Great job Dolphins for coaching him up into a real contributor

I agree, he will keep getting better hopefully also.

He's in the baby stage of this whole thing. Maybe some of these accolades and successes will give him confidence; he just needs to keep playing and learning. Not many people come onto the job the first day and rock the place. He's far from reached his peak.

Lippett is a keeper.
Even when Howard and hopefully Culliver come back, he will be an important part of the Defense.
He is still young and raw, but has great potential.
He is very tall and that is Vance Joseph type of DB.

Does anyone else think that we traded for and used all those picks for Carroo so we can convert him to a dominating LB or TE?

I mean, we are 2 for 2 now

I mean if we can just take WR's and turn them in to good players at other positions then why not right?

Only thing that pisses me off is knowing that we have been playing Kenny Stills out of position the last few years KNOWING that we needed Guard help.

Tannebaum and Gase need to get their heads out of their asses. Ross needs to get rid of these guys.

Remember all.the dropped picks of yesteryear, don't miss that.

That's irresponsible. There is another game yet to be played.

Those INTs might be the confidence boost Lippett needed. Hopefully he continues to improve.
