Just opinions, but do you think Culpepper's injury last year might be a blessing in disguise? With getting hurt and the fallout in Minnesota, maybe he's working a lot harder to prove himself all over again.

I remember when Dan Marino got hurt in 1993, he came back in 1994 with a new flame. Don't get me wrong, Dan's always had the fire inside, but it seemed like he came back with something to prove.

I think C-Pepp certainly has a chip on his shoulder and THAT IS NOT A BAD THING. You're right, he's got something to prove and some people to prove wrong. I absolutely think it was a blessing in Disguise. If he doesn't have the injury he had, and is 100% healthy, then he's the one, not Brad Johnson that helps show improvement with that team and there is no way they give him up, and if they do, it's for far more than just a 2nd round pick.

Without the injury, he wouldn't even be a dolphin. At least not for a 2nd round pick

If Culpepper comes back to form someone in Minny is going to get chewed out in the worst way. Culpepper is rehabbing like mad to start the season which shows you how much he wants to prove to everyone that last years season was just a fluke.

i would deff say its a blessing in disguise because if cpep never got injured last year we would of most likely not of have gotten him and certainly for that cheap (2nd round draft pick)....i like where cpep is at now and i feel he will be ready come season start september 7th against pitt

You don't just dump a guy like Daunte Culpepper for a 2nd rounder. Even with the injury it was still a terrible move by Minnesota. You can't honestly believe that the 2nd rounder they got will make them a better football team than Daunte did. You are absolutely right, without that injury, Culpepper isn't a Miami Dolphin.

Daunte has a ton to prove. He has to prove that last year was a fluke. He has to prove that he can perform without Randy Moss (although he did at times when Moss was hurt.) He needs to prove that Brad Childress is a moron for trading him and that he can bounce back from this injury.

How sweet it is to finally have a QB again in Miami.:D

__________ is to Dolphins like Shaq is to Heat

A. Feeley
B. Fielder
C. Culpepper
D. Frerotte

Yes.IMO it is a blessing in disguise.Who ever thought we would be able to sign someone of CPeps caliber a year ago today.

He had just come off a pro bowl year.

Luck and good fortune seems to be a quality that accompanies Saban.:D

I just finished 10 taco's...I know some stuff about fires inside right now.

You need some Pop..Pop...fizz....fizz ........oh what a relief it is.

I agree with you. But you know what? I still think we could have gotten him for a lower pick because I'm sure Minnesota would have cut him eventually.

I have to go with blessing in disguise too. The moon was in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligned with Mars...or sumpin'

A pretty long sequence of events had to happen before this could occur ...
