blitz vick

I actually don't think blitzing Vick non-stop works that well. You need to bring surprise blitzes, make him settle down in the pocket and contain his runs by giving him a few yards but not many.
 
one good thing falcons havent beat a good team since week 1 and who knows if theyre good anymore eagles)
 
the rasiest way to beat vick is to stop him running! Zach as a QB spy and the DEs pushing put wide this will give vick a gap up front but zach will be waiting!
if we wont to win we have to stop the run
 
Tackling soundly should be our biggest concern. If we tackle like we did against Denver and Carolina we'll win.

How do we stop Vick?

1. Stop Warrick Dunn and TJ Duckett.

2. Score points.


Voila. Isolate Vick. He's not a one-man offense that scores 40 points a game. He's best on that one play, that one drive when you absolutely need to stop him and you just can't. Best way to fight him then is get it to where he needs more than that one play, that one drive. If he needs a bunch of those plays, a bunch of those drives, he's not as likely to come up big.

the monday night game vs the jets..showed us how to beat vick. Make sure we got guys ON VICK's left side so that he cant bootleg or throw the ball to that side. His percentage is drastically higher on his left side. So if we can just cover up the left side thne we should have a great shot at being one of the better teams.
 
Too many people are far too concerned with Mike Vick. Stop the run. If you stop the run you don't have to even worry about Vick. If you are too busy lookin at Muhammad Ali's right hand as it spins around threatening to punch you, you're not paying attention to his left as he smashes you in the effing mouth. Vick will take care of itself. Stop the Alex Gibbs run blocking and ground game, and for god's sake score some damn points on offense (TOUCHDOWNS not field goals). That's all you need to worry about.

Zach cant tackle Vick on a 1on1 we will need several ..vick is a freakin cat.
