But how about Miles Austin? He's 6-3ish and fast. He brutalized the Seahawks last postseason on kickoffs so he's got the versatility that Tony Sparano craves. He was hand picked by the Dolphins regime three years ago - an undrafted kid out of Joisey as in Monmouth. Parcells loves Jersey guys. Austin's averaging 23 yards a catch on eight catches with 3 TDs or more than the entire Dolphins receiving corps.

The Cowboys have already said that they aren't in the market after the Romo injury. Romo is only out for four week and one of those weeks happens to be a bye week. Plus, they have Brad Johnson as a viable backup.

It'll take alot more to get M.Austin then Beck, Jones loves this kid and has said they won't trade for R.Williams because they have him.

they said miles austin is 6,3 ish.................... i don't think so............ he look 5 10 out there......... that is inaccurtae information

honestlly, dallas ain't giving up austin for back, i really don't think any teams has an interest in beck ireland , just said that t o increase his confidence

miles austin is a over hype player...hasn't done nothing great to make a trade. if we make a trade for a wr it will have to be for a #1 wr

Maybe not. But if the Cowboys were willing to trade him for John Beck, what would we be losing in doing so?

At this point I'd trade John Beck for two quarts of Valvoline 10W-40 motor oil and a pack of Fleer trading cards.

well, if its for beck then yeah i agree but knowing Jerry Jones, who loves him some miles Austin he will probably want some draft picks in that deal

Oh no doubt. And you know that Parcells is not dealing away draft picks. This deal is not happening. I don't know why anyone from the sentinel would try and sell this.

Not sure what the value of Austin would be, but being a fellow Monmouth University Alumni I can tell you he can flat out catch and run. Followed his career in college and he caught everthing thrown to him. He was a beast at the combine also. Think he was the fastest of the receiver group back then.

...since when do the cowboys want to trade Miles Austin??

I love how people just pick any name off of a roster and think that they'll trade him if we ask nicely.

Austin is an up and coming WR for Dallas... No way at all they get rid of him. They'd get rid of Crayton before they get rid of Austin
