RB Ronnie Brown is once again running tenatively. He also seems to be having trouble with the heat as he is off to the side, squatting on the ground with a towel over his head;

Not really what I wanted to hear!Even though last year if you watch the first 2-3 games he did seem like he went down too easy!! Maybe he is just a slow starter!

Says Ronnie is running tentatively. I really hate to hear that because that is what is holding him back from taking that next, huge step. He needs to run hard and decisively.

I agree 100%.

Can't wait for the Finheaven camp reports to get here!I would like to see what they all have to say about the way ronnie looks.

Sounds like we really sucked this morning. I am also very concerned to hear that Alabi and Mormino continue to run with the first team while the projected starters Shelton and Hadnot are running #2. I doubt those two are being outplayed, and I hope this isn't a sign that Cameron doesn't know how to judge offensive lineman.

It probably means that they're rotating players to evaluate them. Alabi isn't healthy right now, and they want Shelton and Hadnot to work with the second team to have a vet presence on that squad. I'm not sure why everyone expected the offense to suddenly start clicking with new QBs and linemen.

SD for the last year has had one of the best o-lines, how does Cam not know how to judge o-lineman. The guy started Hardwick and Olivera one year, last year he started Mcneil and this year it seems he is going with Mormino and Satele. No offense, but we do have one of the best o-line coaches out there and with mediocre talent he has coached them pretty well.While it is weird what they are doing with the o-line, now is the time to do it. As far as the bad practices, better now then lateer in the season.

Marcus McNeil, Nick Hardwick, Kris Dielman and Shane Olivea turned out alright. And that's a group with an undrafted free agent and a 7th rounder in there. I think they'll do alright, they're just seeing who plays well with whom and at what positions. Mormino had only played at LG and C up until TC had started. Who knows, maybe this is the fire that Hadnot needs to "turn the light on".

It shouldn't be a suprise that the Defense is ahead of the offense at this point.
There's no need to get worried either.

Lets also not forget that they are probably playing against one of the best defense's in the NFL. The offense is going to struggle just for that simple fact. If we see the offense just be able to contain this defense a little bit then I would call that a success. Lets at least wait a few weeks before we say that we are struggeling.

It's the beginning of training camp. What do people expect from a new offense in transition?

Didnt sound like our sharpest practice. But Im not overly concerned, its VERY early.

I imagine its around the time when players also start to feel the grind of training camp on their bodies - three days in a row after a long offseason of limited practices and workouts. Im not overly concerned. Thats why they have these camps. Make the mistakes now.

PS Dont see how Matt Roth sacking Green is "bad news". Need we reminds Mr. Bedard this is both the Dolphins offense AND defense? And yes, while I know many of us are more concerned about the O, a good D with a serviceable O can take you places (with the help of a great ST... achem.. Mr. Ginn). Furthermore, I think Matt is probably one of the few question marks on D, so him having success is pretty encouraging.

give RB a break its the first day of full contact....he's just getting used to it. he'll be fine. i just don't like hearing that our QBs were 1-7 on the 11-on-11 drills thats straight up pathetic.
