I do not base this opinion on the last few games but, over the last few years. Ross has been a huge detriment to our team and should sell. Not gonna happen. At worst he should just become a fan and start over. Nothing he has done has helped the team with his half assed moves starting with Harbaugh.

He hires Philbin to go with Ireland. No match, and crippled Philbin in hiring a staff.

He fires Ireland, keeps Philbin, and adds Hickey.

He keeps Philbin but, he must fire the OC.

Lazor agrees but, only with complete control of the O in his contract.

He adds Tannenbaum who has more control than Hickey and Philbin combined. JMO

He fires Philbin because he will not replace his DC.

Now, we have Campbell and I do not see any way he can put together a good staff with the FO and lack of experience.

All of the above have left us with a player core to build on of maybe a VG QB, a VG center, a VG slot receiver, maybe a VG RG, a VG safety?, VG OLB?, and Suh who will get $28M next year. That's taking us nowhere.

It's time to stop the band aids, partial changes, and owner meddling and really start over for real. JMO

I believe he has put Tannenbaum above the rest and will turn more authority over to him after this year. He will have even less infliuence on even who the coach is going forward IMO. When you say blow it up if that means Mike T. -also nope cant see Ross doing that anytime soon.

Disagree vehemently w/ blowing things up. There are worse owners than Ross.. Snyder comes to mind.

I'd bet at least 90% of the people on this site do not have the patience for "demolition & reconstruction" yet they are the ones always suggesting it.

That said, the cronyism of Jimmy & Duane Charles have done more damage to this franchise than Ross has. Lets see what happens for the balance of this season; Who knows maybe Lou, Bill, Dan, Dennis, & Mike all have good chemistry and is just what the phins need?

Not a Tannenbaum fan AR and would prefer him gone as well but, as you say, that is not likely. From what I see, he had input and/or control on signing Pouncey, RT, and Suh, etc. Not very impressive but, if he was that good, he would not have been available. ;)

I want Tannenbaum gone along with everyone else. He was a loser with the Jets and we want him running everything for Miami??!! Just asking to have our team run into the ground, yet again.

You better believe he was a part of those signings no doubt....

I feel your pain, look either we improve or get some more years of same old same old with him and we start over yet again. Groundhog day avatar Hyde used was so appropriate.

Hey maybe Brady, Rex an Bill we be about at the end at that point..

Well I understand how you feel but just think it would be highly unlikely for Ross to do that. I think he gets a few years.

What good has Ross done? The Celeb owners? The upgrades on his property for a SB? Giving up a home game for a better shot at a SB? On and on.

This works better in the NBA were a lottery pick can make you really good, really fast. In football there are way too many parts too make a quick turnaround. You blow this thing up and you are looking at another 2-3yrs or more of losing and it still is not a guarantee that you will get any better. It's better to add onto what we already have. Those teams that go from bad to really good are teams that have usually been rebuilding for quite some time, then that one year when they come out of no where, it is usually a product of it just coming together at the right time. I pass on rebuilding, it's not fun being out of the playoff picture by week 8 of the season.

Restoring the phins to greatness is an incremental process. So, why fixate on Ross?

He is just setting the chessboard unlike Al Davis or the buffoon in Dallas trying to acquire and move all the pieces. The only owner who has an iota of a clue IMO is Jerry Richardson and even then its been a less than perfect process in Charlotte.

I have been an optimistic, player/coach defender, Die Hard Phinatic for more years than most anyone here. I have had the patience of a Saint, as have many here. There is a limit for everyone, and mine has been reached. It is time to have a for real rebuilding and let the chips fall where they may. I would rather be watching young guys hopefully developing than what we have all seen, and been extremely disappointed with for many a year.

I have to agree with you. No need to blow anything up at this point. Lets see how the coaching staff shakes out and go from there.

I don't even understand what people mean by "blow it up.". Is that the players or the staff? Is it ALL the players? How many players are cut in a " blow it up " situation vs just a retooling situation?

We just need to continue to draft and bring in more talent. Start with two guards. Then a pass rusher to replace Wake. Then two LBs and a corner. Would that be a blow up?

Now is not the time to be blaming Ross. Philbin is gone so I thought we passed that point as a fan base? I know you said this is based off previous years but really? At what point do we look the players and coaches dead in their eye and tell them they are not getting the job done. This is a 7 or 8 win team based on talent (blame the FO) and its on the coaches to get the most out of their players. Anyone who ever thought Tannebaum or Hickey would save the franchise was dead wrong from the jump.

You are blaming the FO, coaches and players, while thinking that Tannenbaum and Hickey are not the answers. Who hired them?
