In the latest issue of ESPN Magazine they have a short blurb on the Phins.

For Better.....
There's no need to panic in Miami, Carolina and DC. Those teams will rally. Here's how:

DOLPHINS
Step 1: Admit Daunte Culpepper's not 100% and that his hesitant play is infecting the team.
Step 2: As you did 26 times in a week 3 win over the Titans, give the ball to Ronnie Brown, that 232 pound running back you took with the No. 2 overall pick last year, who had just 30 carries in the first two games.
Step 3: Repeat step 2, often.

They also had a section titled For Worse... naming teams more than a quick fix away from contention. (A section the Phins were not part of!)

Thanks for the info. It's true. We just need to feed Ronnie the ball. Culpepper will work out the kinks over the next few weeks.

Ronnie needs to get 25+ carries a game reaguardless of the situation.

Agreed. Even if Daunte weren't crapping the bed, Ronnie needs to pound the rock every game.

Step 2 is a given. If we had stayed with Ronnie in week 2, I think we would've won that game. The way our defense played we could've controled the clock and field position.

Makes sense. I say ronnie 20, lee suggs 10.

Ronnie does need to run more but with this OL, he's not finding much holes. It's all him pushing the pile and that'll drain him soon.

saben was saying in his post game conferance that he wasnt happy about ronnie getting that many carries?

True

i usually dont like "analyst" interpretations, but we have been saying this since week 1, let the beast out of the cage, if we ran the ball more we would have won the pitt game and buffalo game, in both games the d was out on the field way too long

if saban thinks giving the rock 25+ times to ronnie is too much, then give suggs some runs

If Saban doesn't think Brown can handle carrying the ball 25 times a game, he shouldn't have drafted him in the first damn place.
