He's been announcing for years and he's terrible.
Good thing I don't listen to the Dolphins on the radio then
this is absolutely horrible news. He is by far one of, if not the worst commentator to ever call a game. He is just horrible.
Seriously, I rather Crowder . . . he can't be any worse than Griese as a commentator, and he will atleast be entertaining. Griese is a mess when it comes to Dolphins football. I know Dolphins preseason football is a short gig before college football for him . . . but man he is terrible.

They might as well have kicked Cefalo and Rose out and just brought in
Charles Barkley, Bob Griese & Dennis Miller.
What an insult to the legacy of Mandich to followup his voice with that of a total drunk sounding, stuttering Moron.
Very upset right now, I can gauranttee you, i dont care how far from a TV I am , I will never turn on a Fins Radio telecast as long as he is on.

Anyone who doesnt know anything about the Miami Dolphins shouldnt be calling their games on a regular basis. Griese certainly doesnt know much about the team.

Agreed way to dry. But nice link to the past. I doubt he will around for long probably a short term fix.

My biggest question is how can the Miami Dolphins be so involved in Social media yet not listen to their fans. Honestly anyone with half an ear on any social media outlet, Twitter,FB, Blogs or Forums would see/hear the how the fans have been screaming how horrible Griese is. And its not like this is somethign new. Its been being said for years.
BoKamper and Keith Simms IMO should have been the frontrunners. Jesse Agler should have been a nice honorable mention as a canidate.

They should have brought back Zimfer and paired him with Joe Rose. Zimfer was, by far, the best we had after losing Rick Weaver. Cefalo and his faux-excitement is nearly as bad as Zagacki. Cefalo might be the nicest guy around, but I don't think he is right for the booth, and Griese, at least according to an online poll from a few years ago, is one of the least-liked athletes in South Florida because of his rude nature. Stephen Ross seriously has NO CLUE what the fans like.

Having Cefalo and Griese in the same booth is just absurd. Cefalo is the worst play by play guy I have ever heard in any sport. Griese is just clueless. So now we have 2 of the worst guys in the booth in the entire league.
