Five cities? Denver, Miami, Phoenix... Kansas City?... And?
the 5th team is the TEXANS, and thats where he is going to sign.
seattle was never a thought for peyton. to far away from his home in south florida and south beach and the weather is NOT what he wants as he has said over and over, "i want to play in a warm weather city".
i lived in the seattle area for a long time and unless you snow ski or enjoy long walks in the cold, drizzly rain [which happens there a good 7 months out of a whole year] or you love sipping $10.00 a cup coffee while waiting around to throw rocks at the G8 or whatever conservative group/person is in town, seattle is not the place.
texas is warm, the team is real good and its much closer to florida than arizona or seattle or denver.
so many of these things end in "didnt see that coming" and this will be no different. the absolute, almost gimme was peyton to miami. then all these other teams came into the mix. even if peyton had already decided on a team, like miami, its good to go on a couple to gauge his market and for tom condon to have his game on. non of this, he went there first or last, it means this or that is irrelevent.
but after miami, i can see about 3 days later it popping up on espn, "manning signs with the houston texans".
and its not such a bad thing, not as bad as the anti miami writers and pundits make it out to be.
