We are continuing to see how hard it is to hide Bobby McCain in coverage when teams get into the red zone. He's going to be found by big tight ends, and he's going to be found by speedy receivers who don't think he can make up for any mis-steps with his speed or length (neither of which he possesses).
And we still haven't seen him be tested by the ball getting out into the open and him having a lot of green to cover to close down the angles and limit the damage.
Will we likely use Minkah to disguise who is covering who in the red zone?
I was afraid you'd say that. It's not that easy. In a condensed space like the red zone, you can't hide players. And disguises only last until the ball is snapped.

That's not the plan. You might as well get used to the idea of Minkah moving around.I just don't see Bobby McCain being a good safety long term. He needs to go back to being a slot cornerback and move Fitzpatrick to free safety full time.
With that being said isn't he still a batter option than Rashaad or TJ? Is there a better option on the roster?
