First I'll admit with all the delays I did not get to watch the entire game.
But from what I saw for most of the game he did a very good job of defending and tacking in open space.
He was a concern coming in.
Did anyone see differently?

He was lucky the Titans didnt score an early TD when he didn't do very well. But after that i thought he was rock solid.

Though we will face far tougher threats than the Titans passing game

I still really don't like him on the outside. It's workable but not ideal. Sadly it looks like we don't have a better option though.

I was never a huge Tank fan but many of you convinced me that I was being too hard on the rookie(last year).

Well here we are and he looks even worst through the preseason.

Bobby has no business being a boundary DB. But if we have nothing else to play with then he's the guy.

I thought he played well, the nice contract certainly hasnt gone to his head.

His pass break up in the red zone was beautiful. He was on an island w/ two receivers and stayed w/ one, then jumped the short one and broke up the pass.

There’s no perfect thing to do in that situation, most people will get burned by choosing one or the other and the QB just throws to whoevers open. He just made an athletic, good football player play. Big props to him for it

McCain should be the expensive nickel corner and not really used as a boundary corner except in limited circumstances.

Fitzpatrick should be the free safety.

McDonald should play big nickel.

I don't see Burke reinventing the egg here, so he should just use the players where they are best instead of putting square pegs in round holes.

What can the team do? They gave another extension to an average player, then we go and draft a player to replace him.... oooops. He did ok, could have been called for PI a couple times.

shouldn't the big nickel be able to cover? i think thats a better role for Minkah

He competed hard and made some plays. A better throw and he gives up 7 on the first drive. There will be much be tougher tests this year...

Would love to see Tank step up to allow McCain back to covering the slot and Fitz at FS.

He wasn't bad, but I'd like to see him play a little tighter on his coverage. But it was't a bad first outing on the boundary. He'll be challenged a lot this year, so he better be ready.

I guess we watched two different games.
