He has the mental makeup to be a star for sure, but as Grimes has shown, you have to be an absolute freak of an athlete to do well at corner at that size. He will certainly be a good role player for us, but it is asking a lot for him to be a star just like Grimes.

A lot of people don't realize Grimes and Finnegan were almost the exact same size.

Poor measurables and this past year was the first time the team was good in a while. He's actually a lot like Grimes

Aside from stature, length, and straight-line speed, his measurables are pretty outstanding. Better athlete than Waynes overall. But I agree that there are similarities to Grimes. Also reminds me of Verrett without the top end speed.

He's got the same attitude that Deion Sanders had. Justin Fuente, the head football coach in Memphis, has only been there 3 years. Good young coach who'll probably get opportunities to coach at a bigger program soon.

oh yeah very familiar with Fuente, he is one of 2 young coaches in the mid majors I think have HUGE futures (other being PJ Fleck)

Bobby McCain is a very good young CB. He has everything except size and long speed. He has the mental, physical, the eyes, the hands and the short area quickness. This guy is a keeper.

Is he Revis? No. He isn't Grimes either. But I think we found a starter for more than 50% of our defensive snaps that will play at a high level and be very productive for a long time. Will he start this year over 50% of the defensive snaps? Dunno, but by next year I think h will. This kid is legit.
