Bobby Petrino has left Louisville for the Atlanta HC vacancy

I still think Brohm could be gone before 9. There is a chance he gets there, but even if he doesn't, that's one more talented player that will slip to us that otherwise wouldn't have. All the more talent in the draft pool!

Why Brian Brohm...he is so fragile.

Yeah bc nobody ever gets hurt playing football do they.

Phil Simm's son.. Matt Simms declared he would be attending Louisville in the Fall.... wonder if this changes his mind
Has everyone just gave up on Culpepper returning next year!????

There are NO GUARANTEES about Culpepper. If Brian Brohm is there at #9, and he will be with 2 other quarterbacks in front of him, you pick him no questions asked.

He's a franchise quarterback, and his future has less question marks than a broken down Culpepper.

nope, I'd just rather go for the franchise QB that is 21, and has made a full recovery from his knee injury, than for a 31 year old QB that we don't know about.

Pep is 30 and has played a handful of games in 2 years. Brohm is 21 and give him 2 or 3 years behind Pepper, there's a perfect grooming.

not given up, but don't you think he's a huge risk ?

joey proved he's not it. lemon only has 1 game experience. why not bring in someone like brohm and let him develop.

i'd like to see someone else just in case.

There are no guarantees about anyone. Brohm could be injured on his first snap in the NFL, and there he goes.

I think you're jumping the gun about Brohm's availability. I understand you're eager to see Culpepper go for whatever reason, but even if Brohm declares, he falls to #9, and we draft him, he won't be starting immediately.
