Bold Predictions..... How the Phins will beat the Packers!

The Phins are going to run it down Green Bay's throat today as the Phins' corn stalks will pave the way for Moreno and Miller. Phins win it late, 27-24.

Perhaps it will be tough sledding early in the game and Green Bay will hold a halftime lead. Somewhere around 17-7 as Hennehill struggles until leading the Phins to a scoring drive in the 2nd qtr. The Phins regroup and come out prepared to dominate the 2nd half. The cornfed wear Green Bay down and the Phins' RBs have a monster 2nd half, leading the way to a victory. The defense does a fine job despite some early assaults by Rodgers. Refreshed in the 2nd half thanks to the domination of our rushing attack, the defense basically shuts Rodgers and company down in their limited opportunities. A late scoring drive seals the victory for the Phins!!!:up:

And oh yea..........

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :woot:

Surprised you are not in hospital after the scare Arkansas put into bama.
 
Well the first half was pretty much as expected. Tannehill gonna Tanny.

Lets hope the 2nd half goes the way I thought. If we bring in Matt Moore, it could get better.
 
With Albert basically put the rest of this game the chances of winning are gone. Especially with Tannehill in
 
Well, the game went just as I predicted. Even the score was correct, only the wrong team won.

We got beat by a great QB today. Anyone who blames the defense as a whole is lost. Rodgers made a few great plays that you just cant pin on the defense.

We lost for 3 reasons...........

1. Failbin is a moron. His clock management was horrible at the end and he kept calling TOs to play chess with a superior HC and QB. :bobdole:

2. Coyle. He looks like Mini-Sparano. He also put Wheeler in coverage against the TE out wide on the TD that won the game.

3. Hennehill. His miserable first half cost us the game. He played well in the 2nd half, but it is just too difficult to overcome such horrible play for an entire half of football. We failed to score on easy opportunities set up by special teams. We scored 3 points despite short fields on 3 possessions set up by 2 returns and a blocked punt. Hennehill also had two horrible INTs that set Green Bay up. His play also resulted in the defense being on the field for over 20 of the 30 first half minutes. That showed up in the end.

This loss is on Hennehill, as almost all of our losses are. Get a decent QB and this team wins 10+ games every year. This roster is filled with good players and a solid defense. There is just no excuse to keep rolling out terrible QBs and costing us playoff seasons.

Good god you talk in circles! First we lost for 3 reasons but then you end it with it's all on Tannehill??? Seriously man do us all a huge favor and leave these forums.
 
well at lesst acknowledge that the first half Hennehill effect seriously hurt the defense with such a lopsided TOP. Losing those points on the 4th down call inside the 5 didnt help either. Had Hennehill shown some ability in the first half we probably would have thrown it there....
 
Coaching decisions. Such as running and playing safe in the last play instead of passing. Time outs to stop the clock. Not very smart coaching.
 
Just spit balling here but I think if Tannehill had an occasional bad half sandwiched in with consistent mediocre to good play many would join the brigade and give him a pass for one bad half. Unfortunately this guy never puts together a complete game.
 
Have we not learned yet that what is supposed to work, never does for Miami?
 
Good call on the score WV . i thought it was a fun game to watch and just one more play and the Fins would have won. Just one more first down or play by the defense like recovering the fumble or even just tackling the guy on the fake spike in bounds would probably have done it.
Oh well Rodgers gonna Rodger , on to Chicago.

Second time saying this in two weeks but that was one of the best QB'ing performances I've ever seen. Did he make a single errant throw/decision the entire game? That pump fake on Jones. That sidearm throw around the defender. The scrambles at the perfect times. The pump fake though, that is a sign the QB is a football player through and through.
