We all heard how much focus was put into this offseason in the special teams dept.
i actually though over the offseason sparano focused on it too much... maybe he just knew we were gonna be terrible way before i did.
John Bonamego is the ST coach who is highly tauted and was supposed to fix up that problem...
I guess it all starts with our lack of talent and depth of talent... our backups are AFL and CFL worthy.. and STeamer's are usually backup WRs, DBs, RBs LBs, and Te's..
and were very thin at all of those postitions in particular.. maybe not RB..
whatever it is.. it's enough for some of the worst in the league i cant find a stat on kickoff coverage.. but we are 31'st on kick returns... and it seems every team starts on the 30+ yrdline against us.. and our punting game is the worst in the league...
i dont like this part of the ball, and as much as i want ginn returning kicks and punts.. he's not the problem right now..
fix things up Bonamego.. live up to that hype.. cuz your squad sucks!
