Not consistent - Gilmore has definitely outshine him on the field. Welker's been great. Wish I could say the same for Boston.

Is anyone else suspecting that perhaps something is wrong with Boston and the Coaching Staff? Possibly even between him and Saban or some sort behavioral or attitude problems arising that haven't been made public? Just speculating but could be a possibility, I just don't think the reason he is not out there is because of an injury...

I don't think he sucks he was a great WR 3 byrs ago why would he suck now he looked good to me in the preseason.

Then why is he still on the team? He was expected to be released a few weeks ago... He had one catch Week 1 against Denver and 2 catches against the Jets. We've thrown to him maybe only two times since then and both were hail mary type plays, one there was talk how he didn't even make an effort going after it. About two balls thrown his way since Week 2 and both were hailmary type throws and weren't the best throws to say the least... it's clear that he isn't the player he once was, it still isn't clear how much he could imrprove and get back to his old self when we're never throwing the ball his way and keep on inactivating him... How we can criticize and evaluate him if he's never getting the ball or seeing and playing time? He looked good in preseason and pretty good during the offseason, why all of sudden he "sucks", I remember you weren't too thrilled to say the least when we signed and have been anti-boston since day 1... but how can you properly evaluate him when we never use him or give him the ball. Two throws, both 30+ yards downfield I would say since Week 2... if anything, we don't know what he is or can be, frankly if anything we don't know enough to evaluate him.Jnaledu3 said:

I agree that Boston has no value now though. I bet he wouldn't get much interest in free agency either.

Boston worked out for 1 team, and it was only because of Jerry Sullivan.
Boston was a healthy scratch last night. He has contributed nothing so far this season. The only reason that he's still on the team is because his salary counts against our cap regardless of if he's on the team or not.
