Boston: knee soreness

yeah i just heard that also, hopefully its nothing more than just a stiff knee. I would venture to say after having surgery like that you will have some soreness in that knee. But like said above, we have heard this before. :(

I hope it's nothing serious - I think he's a key cog to this season. Still, it makes me kind of wonder whether he's going to be able to perform at a very high level anymore if every time that his knee gets sore he's going to have to sit out. I'm about as pro-Boston a guy as you'll find, I'm really hoping for him, but it's the reaction (not necessarily the soreness itself) that definately has me a little concerned.

 Hopefully he is ok..

Its pretty normal for a player to experience soreness coming off a major knee injury and working that knee out day after day.

No doubt they are simply giving it a rest which is the right thing to do.

Its pretty amazing that Boston is showing as well as he has and has recovered so much speed this early.

i think he'll be alright, everyonce in awile its good to have a small rest off of it, i think he'll be ok

If that's true, that is definitely a setback. You can spin it how you want, but it puts a chink in the armor of the vision everyone has of David Boston making a glorious return to the talent of his 1600 yard receiving days.

He'll get much more recovery time during the season than he's had in Training camp, they probably just overworked that repaired knee a little too much.

I hope he's ok and has a good season, but hopefully this will stop those rediculous "Trade Booker" threads.

I never thought he would make it through training camp.He is like a fine piece of China.Nice to look at.Easy to break.

BTW I am not saying he is done.He will probably have to sit out for a while but I expect he will always be an injury prone player.

I'm not sayin this is very significant or anything, it could just be a one day thing, but I'm not sayin its insignificant either. The best indication of what will happen in the future is what is happening now and in the past. If a little preseason action causes soreness in the knee and he needs to miss practice, he'll probably be battling that all season.

did they say anything else about practice, howd ronnie do, etc?
Some vague stuff about the offense doing well and that Saban said something about the rookies need to pay attention to detail or concentrate more, something like that.
