Boston regaining old form!

Better than Randy Moss? That's quite a limb, but overall maybe you're right. That said, I'd take Moss over even Chris Chambers any day, much less the rest. Hope Boston, Booker etc prove me wrong...

Yeah, overall talent. We know what Boston can do at top form, Chambers actually being used, these two guys have probowl talent, elite top 5, 10. and Booker was a probowler also could be the one of the best no.3 reciever in the league, plus MCMichael. I think that collective group of talent is greater than Moss. If there were two or three Randy Moss's on a team then it wouldn't even be close, but there obviously isn't so......

I'll go out on a limb and say that linehan has waaay better tools (WR's) than he had with the vikings. he must be licking his chops!!

Nice satire there.

But no, thats a little unfair to say carter and Moss. Linehan didn't have them together for too long. And im sure the receiving core he was refering to was Moss and campbell/burleson. Which talent wise, you coul make a case for chambers, booker, and boston.

How about Moss, Burleson, and Robinson? It's tough to argue with a trio that gets what those three got last year.

Marty Booker could be the best no. 3 receiver in the league...if the first two guys on the team were:

Chad Johnson
Andre Johnson
Marvin Harrison
Randy Moss
Joe Horn
Torry Holt
Terrell Owens
or Hines Ward

Otherwise, Marty is a LOAD better than what you're suggesting he is. It disgusts me how little respect he gets here.

The first two guys have just as much talent, except for Randy Moss, and T.O

David Boston has as much talent as Marcus Robinson, and look where he was compared to Moss and Burleson last year.

Due to this longer tenure with the team and the style he plays with, Chris Chambers is getting the nod at WR over Booker. It doesn't matter much because they're both on the field as the starting receivers and because they will compliment each other nicely.

David Boston is coming off of injuries and misbehavior on the level of Ricky Williams (substance offenses). He's a role player. I hope he can be a very valuable role player, but it is truly heinous how a whole segment of fantasy football playing Dolphins fans chasing a 1600 yard year Boston will never replicate minimize what Marty Booker has done. Marty is a Pro Bowler, and his "serious" injury was an ankle sprain like the one Owens had his down year. When all is said and done, you're all going to be shocked at what you missed.

Never say never, I'm not sure if the old Boston will come back, but I would be happy to see a healthy David Boston on the field, and as far as behavior goes, He's doing good there, I know about his past, so does everyone else., but if there's one thing does gives a person motivation to change there ways is a child in their life. Like Boston said with having his daughter, gives a different perspective towards things, and I'm sure he's going to trie harder to be better, because he's a role model to his daughter, and I'm sure he probably wants to clear the slate and by a good example of how to act. I don't think Down on Booker though, I think he's a good receiver and he will rebound this season.

C-chamber has shown amazing skills at times. If he can be more consistent through the whole season, watch out. Marty Booker is a very nice 3 in ANY offense. Most teams would love him as a 2. I worshiped Boston when he first came to the desert. Man o man. This guy can outrun Corners, and run over linebackers. If, and I mean IF all these weapons are ready, other teams had better be ready. Oh yeah, it won't suck to have Ronnie and Ricky in the backfield either.....

Are you kidding me? Boston is better potentially than Robinson ever dreamed of being.

Riiiiight. :rolleyes2

Marcus Robinson had to contend with three subpar QBs (McNown, Matthews, Miller) and had to share the field with 947 yard gainer Bobby Engram. He still put up 1400 yards and scored 9 TDs.

David Boston didn't catch a pass from any QB but Jake Plummer and didn't have to worry about competition from anyone better than Frank Sanders with his 618 yards. He rang up 1598 yards and scored 8 TDs.

Take off those homer moon-eyed glasses and face reality. Boston has been through just as much as Robinson has been medically. They're the same player. If Boston ever reaches 657 yards and 8 TDs like Robinson did last year, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Before you go talking Chargers, remember that he tore a tendon between then and now.

Booker caught 100 balls in 2 straight seasons with the same crappy cast that Robinson had to contend with.

Exactly. Booker *and* Robinson are both superior receivers dragged down by a subpar cast. Unlike Chambers, they both had stellar seasons despite the limitations.

Tell me I'm wrong. Before you do, remember that you're going to have to show me where the plug in replacement was last year when the song was the same but neither Marcus nor Marty were there.

Just the fact that we have four to five WR's is pretty special. Im counting Welker cus i think he can come in on some special plays and make things happen. do end arounds and stuff..... anyways, I would be so jazzed if Boston is starting and Booker is getting major PT cus that means we are kicking some *** this year. when one guy gets hurt and is out for a couple of weeks, I dont think you lose much. When the major injury hits, then it sucks. Booker doesnt seem to get hurt. Knock on wood.

I agree Marty Booker is very underated as a receiver. He's not a speed demon and not a flashy player but he does do what WRs are supposed to do well..... Get open and catch the ball! And have you seen his YAC? Guy's like a freaking RB who is pretty hard to take down!

Watch Booker make a major dent this year along with Chambers & Boston &.... I'm so psyched to have all these guys on my team!!:D

Now if only Ronnie would get his butt to camp....... :fire:
