Boston should go to TE

Seriously, Boston is just not tight end material. And if his knees are a concern at wideout, they make any speculation of him as a tight end a "nonstarter."

Practice S.TE: Radar



Boston is big and strong. We could use that muscle in TE blocking situations. He also has good hands, and can make yards after the catch. Boston could be a great TE end and become a go to guy quickly. This would also allow us to keep some young talent at WR. If Mann and Gilmore develop into quality receivers, The Dolphins could have in incredible receiving squad. And don’t forget that R Brown can catch the ball as good as anyone.

You want to take an all-pro receiver and switch him to TE?
Well Turk is pretty big too. Maybe he should play NT when we switch to 3-4

Yea, how? MeMike drops and chokes, and wants to cash in. Trade him. That's not idiotic, it's logical, sensible and realistic,

Booker has done squat, give his spot to Boston. That moves Welker up and gives Mann DT's time.

I can hardly see why you and the poster above you think it's so far fetched.

And if you disagree, rather then show the world how well your mom raised you, why not offer a rebuttal?
 
In a far out way he has a point....but only in situation where it has merit. Member the Dolphins Bears 85 game. Shues put Nat Moore in at TE and it worked to perfection. So...in certain packages....it could work.

The two aren’t comparable. We have a lot of talent at WR. This s a plausible idea, not some moronic suggestion like Matt Turk playing Nose Guard. I was looking for debate, not criticism. :cool:

At the risk of sending DBoston80 into a fit, I must point out that in their time as Dolphins, Booker has the following edges over Boston:

- 1 less blown knee
- 1 less arrest
- 1 less senior citizen assault victim
- 1 less banned substance suspension for...
- 4 less missed games due to suspension

- 50 more catches
- 638 more yards
- 1 more TD

Jeez -- catch a couple of passes with the second team O, and some of you are ready to crown this dude king of the world...I'd personally like to see him make a least one catch that matters (i.e., in a regular season game).

Don't worry, man ... I'm not giving up on Booker yet, either.
 
David Boston is NOT an everydown player and never will be again. At WR let alone at TE!

...Yeah all that matters ON the field..Boston is WAY more talented than Booker..but Boston is fine at #3.....

WR - So what has Mann done? What has Boston done? Booker has already done more for the Phins.....
