Boston should go to TE

At the risk of sending DBoston80 into a fit, I must point out that in their time as Dolphins, Booker has the following edges over Boston:

- 1 less blown knee
- 1 less arrest
- 1 less senior citizen assault victim
- 1 less banned substance suspension for...
- 4 less missed games due to suspension

- 50 more catches
- 638 more yards
- 1 more TD

Jeez -- catch a couple of passes with the second team O, and some of you are ready to crown this dude king of the world...I'd personally like to see him make a least one catch that matters (i.e., in a regular season game).

That's fine. I'm just saying Booker hasn't exactly lit it up since he came here. He's had a lot of drops and isn't as fast as Boston. Like Boston or not, I don't think Booker is that deserving a roster spot, or playing time over someone like Welker or Boston.

I'm more against Booker than for Boston.

While it would be enticing to see Boston at TE his body is not durable enough. Yes he has an incredible physique... nobody is denying that. However, you must look at his durability as a receiver alone. There is no way his body could take the every down punishment a TE endures.

..Uh Oh:( ..I feel sorry for you...Duck Jimmy James is comin for you:fire: :fire: :fire: ...Booker could catch 40 balls 1 td and have 450yds.....BUT HE"S A CLASS ACT:lol: ..and we all know how important that is in the NFL.

What have Boston and Welker done to show they earned more playing time than Booker? Welker has yet to prove he can be a WR in the NFL, and Boston is a long way from his All-Pro days of a few years ago. Boston was a beast, but I don't think his knees can hold up to being an every doewn player again. Maybe someday he'll get back to that form...but so far he hasn't.

Saban should move Boston to TE. Some of you are not going to agree with this, but hear me out.

Starting WR: Chambers, Booker, and Gilmore

Bench WR: Welker, Mann, Davis

Drop WR: Thompson

Injured R.WR: Newsom (spelling)

Starting TE: Mc Michael, Boston

Bench TE: Diamond, /Lee

Drop TE: Holmes

Practice S.TE: Radar

Boston is big and strong. We could use that muscle in TE blocking situations. He also has good hands, and can make yards after the catch. Boston could be a great TE end and become a go to guy quickly. This would also allow us to keep some young talent at WR. If Mann and Gilmore develop into quality receivers, The Dolphins could have in incredible receiving squad. And don’t forget that R Brown can catch the ball as good as anyone.

What do you think?

No way a former All Pro WR changes position this late in his career. TE and WR are not similiar positions. We'd be doing our team a disservice by putting him there. He's going to help at WR and thats where he should stay.

Welcome to my ignore list. It is WAY overdue.

ok we all know the knock on Boston with his knee's and all the Finheaven doctors who have put limitations on his playing time because of them....So what's Booker's excuse??? He has not performed wellat the camps or any preseason game.....WHY????

Putting Boston at WR would be like putting Mike Vick at RB..no need it would be taking away from a physical advantage from a more important position.

He has not had a lot of drops. There were two passes that were nowhere near his body he reached out for against Pittsburgh and didn't catch. There was a pass badly underthrown where he and a DB were *standing there waiting on it* where he went up for the ball but didn't get it due to the DB making what was at least a borderline illegal play on him. I know damned well that's what you folks are pissing and moaning about because there is mass hysteria here over stupid freaking preseason games.

He caught 19 less passes than Chambers did despite coming to the team late and having nobody here to teach him the O because even the OC didn't know the O. That's darn impressive to me. Just wait to see what he does for us this year. I assure you that I'm going to make sure you *all* know about it after the abuse he has endured.

His knees didn't even let him out of camp last year. He was held out of practice this year too. Boston needs to prove he can be an every down player again. So far, he hasn't been able to do so.
