Who else wants to see Boston lined up opposite Chambers with Booker in the slot? Bring in Gilmore's speed in a 4 WR set and you got a pretty tough group to defend out there. I think Booker is the more natural slot receiver than Boston, and Boston draws the other team's big CB, which leaves Chambers covered by a smaller guy.

We are going to run plenty, plenty of 3 wide sets this year.

Technically, all three of them will "start."

Id love Booker n CC starting and with the 3 wr set formation id love Dbo in there The corners and safeties will go Crazyy and With RAndy in there sickk the only Prob is the Qb position put in a guy like Rivers or Brees im sure we can be legitimate

See... I dont buy that. For business majors... the money Booker is making is a "sunk cost". It is money that has been spent (or in this case... going to be spent no matter what) The organization is spending the same amount of money on player salary no matter who starts or get more PT (minus minor incentives). If Boston is playing better than Booker... he should start. I think Booker is better that Boston and Booker will stay #2... but not because he makes more...

.......... Hell for all intensive purposes, I'd love to see Boston become a No.1 again. Either way, it's all good because like another poster pointed out we're running Linehan's 3 WR offense............ man, picture this........ Chambers.......... Booker............ Boston........... McMichael......... Ronnie coming out of the backfield........... all those guys at our QB's disposal........ that's just downright sick.

So if you were to go by that theory, AJ Feeley would have a lock on the starting QB position, Reggie Howard would start a CB across from Madison, and Damion McIntosh would start over Vernon Carey?:shakeno:....I'm pretty confident Saban bases his depth chart on performance, not on paycheck.

I think one reason why boston will be #3 is his history with getting injured, he will be on the field less, playing #3, therefore less chance to get injured. Also they want to take advantage of his size & speed against other teams nickel backs, creating a mismatch and a chance for the big play. Booker is more of a possesion receiver ala OJ Mcduffie, and makes a great #2.

I would also love to see Boston line up opposite Chambers, but I can't help but hold my breath everytime I see him catch the ball, he looks like he is one hit away from getting injured...again.

no matter where you put those players , that's one impressive wr list especially if Boston steps up and add McMike to the list..

Chambers and Booker are the two starting receivers on this team. It is looking like Boston will be #3 with Gilmore at #4.

When there are 3 WRs on the field, I really think it is Chambers who should be in the slot. Imagine Booker and Chambers on one side of the field with Boston on the other. Now imagine Boston and Chambers on one side of the field with Booker on the other. I'd think the first way would be what you want to do in the red zone while the second would be better for the open field.

We are going to run plenty, plenty of 3 wide sets this year.

Look for a pro-form lineup with 3 wide - Chambers, Boston, Booker mixing up their spots, McMichael at TE and Ricky and Ronnie horizontal in the backfield. On paper, if you take out the QB and suspect O-Line, that's the best lineup in the NFL.

Both backs can catch, Ronnie is touted as a brutal blocker as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing it all come together in the next few weeks. Let's hope they decide on a QB (Ferotte) after the Pitt game, and if Hudson can get the O-Line together...look out.

I like more what Boston bring to the table as bar as physical play and ability to break tackles...and if Im not mistaken he is faster than booker also which to me would say booker is best suited for the 3 or slot position.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Saban isn't the one to start a player over what has been spent on him. After all, they (the Dolphins Pre Saban) did spend a 2nd on AJ, and he still is in a dog fight for the QB position. I have said it before that Booker is the natural slot receiver and that if healthy Boston is hands down better than he is. Boston now seems to be healthy, his confidence is up and he's not playing like he's worried about his injury. It's only a matter of time. Give it two weeks.
