Boston vs. Booker

Chambers and Booker are the two starting receivers on this team. It is looking like Boston will be #3 with Gilmore at #4.

When there are 3 WRs on the field, I really think it is Chambers who should be in the slot. Imagine Booker and Chambers on one side of the field with Boston on the other. Now imagine Boston and Chambers on one side of the field with Booker on the other. I'd think the first way would be what you want to do in the red zone while the second would be better for the open field.
And Chambers had arguably his best season (not stats-wise) in the slot in his first year. The key to all this for me is the line -- if we can give the QB enough time to pick apart the D with the 3 WRs, McMike, and either Ronnie or Ricky out there, we should be pretty damn tough to defend.

I also think Booker is more naturally suited for the slot than Boston. In any case a starting trio of Chambers, Booker, & Boston is looking very good.

All that we need is a Marino, vintage 1984, and we will be set.

i think booker boston and chambers will have a sick year, all 3 of them... and you'll see those NFL primetime clips of them together (as they did with duckett, vick and dunn last year) and they will be called the BBC and they will dominate regardless of whos number 2 and whos number 3... that is all

Booker will start, but will move to a slot position when Boston is in. I have a feeling that all three will be on the field the majority of the time because we lack a 2nd TE/H-back. We will create a lot of mismatch problems for defenses. Imagine it's 3rd and 10. Ferrotte's in the shotgun with Chambers, Booker, Boston. McMichael, and Ronnie lined up at WR.

Look for a pro-form lineup with 3 wide - Chambers, Boston, Booker mixing up their spots, McMichael at TE and Ricky and Ronnie horizontal in the backfield. On paper, if you take out the QB and suspect O-Line, that's the best lineup in the NFL.

Both backs can catch, Ronnie is touted as a brutal blocker as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing it all come together in the next few weeks. Let's hope they decide on a QB (Ferotte) after the Pitt game, and if Hudson can get the O-Line together...look out.

That would be great but also look for a flag for 12 men on the field.
