with booker injured xrays negative though will boston play, i cant see welker playing outside thats why i ask

Boston hasnt been playing because of injuries, has nothing to do with his performance I believe.

Has anyone seen anything on Booker? The only note I have seen indicated he had a twisted ankle. Unless it is much worse than that would indicate, he should be fine for next week. Even a sprained ankle should be something he'd come back from by then unless it's the dreaded "high ankle sprain".

Saban said last night that his xrays came back negative, so its a sprain.

I knew that eventually you'd be sporting that sig JD.....

Hell yeah!

Man I am glad he isnt on the team now, because all of these whiners would be calling for him to start at this point.

I think Saban knew this would happen, and thats one of the reasons he got rid of him.

Boston is as done as fried chicken.....he is gone next year.

Does anyone think that Saban would want to keep Welker in the slot, thus starting Gilmore opposite of Chambers?

Having just watched the game i would say if Gus is Throwing the ball it dont matter who we got at WR cos he aint going to get them the ball!! He missed a few open players last night.

I think it's probably more about what Linehan thinks is best. That said, I would certainly want to keep Welker in the slot if I were him. I think that is the key to his effectiveness.

The understatement of the day.
