Both PFT Writers pick Bills over Dolphins

Some people say the same about Tannehill.

It is a fair criticism. Wallace said this week that the Dolphins really should have score 50 points last week. I agree with him. The entire passing game except for the offensive line had problems with execution. There were more than 4 dropped passes, there were route mistakes, and Tannehill needs to perform better.

Tannehill did a good job of decision making and running the offense. His ball location was off by a significant amount. That really hurt yards after the catch. I do not agree with some that the poor location caused Wallace's fumble, but it did hurt his ability to create more yards or avoid the tackle. Tannehill missed three obvious touchdown throws. I will say he looks better in this offense than last year, but he has a long way to go before he leads us to the playoffs due to his skill.

The encouraging part is we won with a poor performance from him. That would not have happened last year.

You can pretty much replace the Bills name with the Dolphins name in both write ups and come to the same outcome. These two guys are hacks in every sense of the word. Add no value whatsoever

Im interested to see if the Dolphins can keep Spiller/Jackson under 200 yards.

EJ and the passing game does not concern me, just a few weeks ago they were booed off their home field. Stopping the run game is paramount. Our D is banged up right now, so our replacements will face a tuff challenge this Sunday, and I'm hoping they are up to the task. Our D will have to find ways to stop the run and create a few turnovers.

Dolphins at Bills

MDS’s take: No team surprised me more in Week One than the Bills, who look like they’ve developed an offense that takes advantage of EJ Manuel’s strengths and a defense that has talent all over the field. Buffalo might just be a playoff team. Who saw that coming?

MDS’s pick: Bills 24, Dolphins 20.

Florio’s take: Both teams were surprise winners in Week One. The Bills are riding a rare wave of euphoria, with the team likely not moving for a long time, if ever. If they can do what they did to the Bears in Chicago, they can find a way to hold serve at home against a division rival.

Florio’s pick: Bills 24, Dolphins 20.

Not that it really matters what a bunch of reporters think but I am pretty sure you can find more picking the dolphins than you can the bills in this one. Not to mention that those who get paid to ACTUALLY GET THEIR PICKS RIGHT, ie Vegas, has us as a 1 pt favorite on the road, which means they think we are a 4 pt favorite.

Definitely not an easy game to pick, but Tannehill is definitely the better QB of the two.
