Is that Edwards is x10 better than ginn is and potential wise its not even comparable. As a fins fan I would of loved if the fins would of made a similar trade.
Sure Edwards drops balls, might not be good for the locker room (he is on a crappy team though) but he would be the best receiver on the fins roster by a mile.

A.) Braylon Edwards is not that great. Neither is Ted Ginn, Jr as a #1 WR.

B.) Being the best WR on the Miami Dolphins right now ain't saying too much.

I would take Davone Bess over Edwards.. Your thread is pointless and backed with facts. The truth is Braylon Edwards is not a Top 20 WR in football and is over-rated. He isn't the best receiver on Cleveland this year. A Rookie in Massaqui had better stats. He is a bigger NAME than anyone of the Dolphins and that is about it

we need chambers back because the bolts have good depth there aand will likely let him go . oh i know many around here dont like him and this so called better wr then welker where the f in hell is this alledged wr at ?

I say we make a trade for ocho cinco or bring in wr bowman or draft Dez Bryant .

The Jets gave up too much for a slower version of Ginn
Stuckey who is solid.
3/5 round draft picks, the 3rd could turn into a 2nd, but I doubt it.
The JETs gave up way to much for this talent that drops the ball.

NYjunc said it in another thread. Trading for WR's in midseason usually don't work out well and ends up costing the team getting the WR too much. I tend to agree.

Edwards is a #2 WR at best...don't know what all the fuss is about. The guy can't even catch a cold. The Jets still have better WR's on their roster than him. I think alot of people are overreacting about this because they want us to trade for a WR so bad they can't stand it

Lets put it this way. Are'nt you glad we took Ronnie Brown now instead of Edwards?

I for one say that is one good thing Satan did. I mean Saban.

:rolleyes2:

What? Edwards hasnt done any better than Ginn has the last 2 seasons. The only thing Edwards does is go deep, much like Ginn, only funny thing is Ginn is faster and has better hands. If the Fins got Edwards I guarantee you you'd be one of the fans among many others talking about how crappy he is by the end of the season. The Browns have passed more than the Fins as well and yet Edwards numbers still arent any better than Ginn or Bess and Ginn isnt even on the field half the time. Those of you who are in love with Edwards obviously dont watch many games and just go by name recognition. We should go out and get Shaun Alexander, he was awesome a few years ago and since he'd be coming to a better team he's bound to bounce back.

I'd like him on our team for Madden, but I have Pat White so I just scramble every play.

This will depend on which Edwards shows up. 2007 his breakout year or 2008 hen he led the league in drops. The edition of Edwards is an upgrade but that is not saying much. We have much better receivers that we face in Buffalo and NE.

Being the best wr on the miami dolphins is like being the smartest kid in special Ed. Call it what ya wanna call it but we're handicapped at that position till we decide to address it either via the draft or a legit free agent.

As far as Edwards is concerned...He was NOT worth what the Jets gave up! not even close. I said it before and i'll say it again...THE JETS JUST BOUGHT SOME OCEANSIDE PROPERTY IN IDAHO!! hahahaha Thank you Cleveland!
