Well i don't post much on here but i thought after tonight i'd give my input. I didn't get to see the game tonight cuz i live in stupid Las Vegas(nice place to visit but u don't wanna live here) Anyway, I saw NFL Live and ever since Sage came to Miami he has done very well in preseason games. Obviously Gus is gonna be the man but i think Sage should be close behind him and A.J. should be gone! A.J. is another Fiedler. He shows moments of greatness but most of the time he is below average. As for Gus, he knows he system, has a few mistakes, and could probably be O.K. this season. Now, with Sage (as i've been thinkin for years) hasn't had a chance to shine (except for in preseason, which he's done very well and it showed tonight), and why not give him a shot. What do we have to lose? On the other side of things, our defense i thought played really well. One TD came from a INT thrown by none other than A.J. (pack your bags) Feeley. The hit where the Atlanta guy got his helmet launched off and fumbled was just excellent! That show our D is playin with some heart and intensity. Our O line is lookin better and better. Ronnie had a nice run to the outside where he carried some guys with him. So bottom line: I didn't see the whole game (unfortunately) but from last week and tonight, Start Gus, Sage as backup, and get Feeley a job at Wal-Mart. The O-line i think will be fine. Defense as always will shine. And let's get optimistic. Preseason is preseason and i have a good feeling about our Fish this year!

Where we watching the same 0-Line ....I don't think Gussy or even Feeley had much time to throw the ball. I still believe both QB's are mediocre at best, but the O-Line is far from being decent with Mckinney at Center.

The only problem with Saban actually starting Sage in a regular season game is IF Sage didnt work out and IF Sage did some really stupid things, Monday morning arm chair quarterbacks would demand Sabins head on a platter..

Politically speaking.. its not a wise thing for a NFL head coach to do.. HOWEVER... if Sage did start and if Sage turns out to be the next franchise QB.. then Sabin is a genius...

So, before Nick considers something as risky as starting a 3rd string QB.. he has to understand that if it doesnt work out.. it could be a NFL career ending suicide
