Bowens to Retire very soon

Shame, this guy did a lot of the dirty work, stuffed the run and opened up the lb's to make plays. He was a great defensive lineman, one of the best we've ever had.
 
Definitely will be missed. As solid as we've ever had at DT. Good luck and thanks Timbo.

On a positive note, it will open up some salary cap room.
 
I wished that Bowens could play this year under Saban and be our 3-4 NT. I wish him the best of luck with his injury. Bowens has always been a class guy and i respect him for that. he is a HOF in my book.
