Bowl Game Question...

I do enjoy college football but am not a huge fan and I got a question. Tonight the championship game between Texas and USC is the Rose Bowl. Is the championship game played as the Rose Bowl every year? Or do they alternate it between others? How does that work.

They rotate between the 4 major bowls(Rose,Fiesta, Sugar, Orange). Next year it is at the Fiesta Bowl.
