Have you guys been watching ESPN this week? They can't seem to shut up about how San Diego upset the Colts but had such a DEVASTATING loss to Miami. Brees said it was 'unfortunate' on Monday Night Countdown and Donnie Edwards actually gave us credit on PTI (Trust the only person on ESPN to give us credit to not be an ESPN employee).

But all in all, it feels pretty good to be one of the big upsetters. Hopefully people will remember this come playoff time.

It seems no one cares for us. ESPN really truly hates us, thankfully Edwards gave us some kind of recongnition.

we were better then the chargers, it is a shame the season is not longer

Nobody is giving us the respect that we deserve. Many people still think of us as that 4-12 team last season. They all failed to realized that we are 7-7 and we are a team that could be a force within the next couple of years. Soon we will be getting the respect from everybody, even ESPN of the matter.

I know your pain. Remember last year when we won 7 of our last nine? We got no recognition from ESPN or anyone else. Its the whole small market thing.

How about next year we start out 13-0 and then people start talking about us matching the 1972 Dolphins season. That'd be something we'd get coverage for.

a TAD off-subject, but has anyone noticed that in EVERY SINGLE ONE of those STUPID "I Like It, I Love It" MNF segments the Dolphins are either:

A - Shown letting up some huge, embarassing play in our loss that week

OR

B - NOT SHOWN FOR EVEN HALF A DAMN SECOND when we Do win?*

*we got a .75 second clip this week because the Chargers beat the Colts but it was a clip of the 72 dolphins, not the current team.

What the hell gives? Even on the FOX/CBS halftime shows or the ESPN Sunday Night pregame show when they are doing scores and highlights we get NO highlights on the weeks we win, they just show the score real quick, and the weeks we lose they show some huge screw up play that gives up a long TD (usually Reggie Howard  ), thats IF we even get a clip when we lose.

Other fans give us no respect. in the ESPN power rankings we are 18th. In the sports nation ESPN rankings we are 25th.

yea it takes them a while to realize we played a good game and totally outplayed them

i hope when we win the SB in a year or Def. 2 JT or some of the outspoken palyers on our team that keep saying they are sick of hearing teams and reports and media say we are a bad team and can't win come out and just tell em off on national TV during the time they are holding the trophy and being asked questions. I'd LOVE to hear JT say it and Z THOMAS say and you guys said i cant play LB or im washed out. MY OOO MYY what woudl i do to see that and have it happen!

Or those ESPN HDTV commercials where they constantly show that KR we signed last season muffing the ball with the commentary track of Theismann saying "Boy, that was just a horrible mistake His coach will give him an earful for that one".

Yeah, then ESPN could villify the 72 and 2006 Dolphins.

It would be Bermans dream come true. well, almost

considering we were sub .500 at the time and san diego had won like 5 in a row and were at home with 3 HUGE games on the horizon, it WAS a big loss
