Yesterday I was pretty damn pissed after watching our Dolphins "drop the soap in prison" against our hated rival Jets, and I said a lot in 24 hours in the heat of anger. Yes, I regret nothing because I got a lot of people clicking the "thanks" button and I'm a complete whore for that, but I still feel compelled to give a recap. I said the following:

1) Stephen Ross would not have the testicles to fire Joe Philbin until year's end.

2) Stephen Ross actually believed Philbin when Joe said for the 40,000th time in a 2 week span, "We need to go back and look at the film".

3) Our president and ownership would not want to reward players they felt were lazy in caving to their demands to fire Joe Philbin.

4) I believed the rumors that the team was having trouble firing Philbin "only because there wasn't a good enough replacement in house".

5) I said the best replacement in house, far and away, was Dan Campbell, but that this team was so out of touch with progressive thinking, coaching track records, and who was actually good on its staff that they would never, ever name him head coach.


Soooooo yeah, I was wrong. A LOT. And from my spot, standing here in "Wrongsville, U.S.A.", I can tell you all this....

IT FEELS SO DAMN GOOD TO BE WRONG! Welcome Dan Campbell, thank you Stephen Ross, and here's to having some semblance of hope in a season we all assumed was lost!!!!! BEING WRONG FEELS FANTASTIC! Yes, the playoffs remain a longshot, but I at least have more than 1% faith that our team will TRY HARD on Sundays.

We're all pumped for Dan Campbell, but let's be real here: this likely won't get us to the playoffs. But it's the only thing Ross could have done this season for us to have a chance.
 
Way to man up, takes some balls bruh. Myself included didn't think Ross had the smarts to pull the plug now. Boy was i in for a surprise when i checked sources to find out the rumors were true.
 
sorry but Ross is STILL on my **** list. He totally botched this last season and should have fired Failbin then. We missed out on some damn good coaches we could have had.

Anyways I do hope Campbell ignites a spark in this team and we turn this around. not too confident though

Aw shucks, thanks Adam First. Right back at ya. You almost made this cold, unfeeling person the Miami Dolphins have torn the heart out of "Temple-Of-Doom-style" shed a tear. It looked like this:

I never thought Aqua And Orange would clear up his avys acne.
 
No matter what happens I can say this I am feeling so so so much better today hearing not only was Philbin fired but they promoted Campbell. Only bad thing about today was not hearing Coyles name alongside Philbin

I was about 90% sure that Ross would do nothing and stick with the status quo....which is so typical for this organization. I am very happy this move was made now, and I like the change to DAN CAMPBELL as our new HC. Now we can see which players really want to be here.
