If we dont beat Cleveland today, FOR WHATEVER REASON, then the victories over Denver and Caroline were flukes. After the game is over today, if we lose, we cant say, "Frerotte wasnt up to par,etc." , "Linehan didnt run enough".

There just has to be a victory today with this talent , you know?

Now Im as hardcore as you can get, but I think you guys will agree, we have the talent to get these games won early and finish out.
 
flukes? nah more like luck. Denver couldn't handle the heat/humiditiy and we got extremely lucky with the panthers and that interception.

If we don't win today I for one will think this team sucked just as bad as last years. Yeah we made some improvements but the results seem to be the same.
 
We are 3 games under .500 and have only been outscored by 12 points. We are a good team, we just need to find a way to finish out these games.
 
I think if we drop four or five balls and commit penalties and have more bad playcalling in the redzone, that Sage or anyone else cannot stop that from happening. This is a team game. I think if we lose big then I become worried. If we lose by a missed FG or something, it still wont bother me cus it may mean we are still close, and yet closer to getting a really good draft pick in the draft.

That is the backdrop to how I feel. If we were to truly breakdown each game for what it is, (and not use to bash Gus all day long), then we should come to the conclusion that we are not far from consistantly winning. Most all of these games were close and we kicked Denvers butt so........We just need to put it all together and build our OL and DB's and find a QB and WR.

and you notice we won those games with just ronnie brown and no R&R

Yeah really!! You can honestly say the only game we were truly outplayed was against Kansas City. Hell, we almost put up 500 yards of offense up against the Pats' and still lost. I'm not sure what the answer could be.
 
We arent a bad team but by no means a good team

We have talent in almost every aspect of football

RBs, WRs, TE, Oline, LBs, DEs, DTs, Safetys, ok corners even great special teams but much like past dolphins teams we dont execute.
 
Oh I was using Gus as an example, I think the whole team needs to "step-up" or just push a little harder. They are so close at the end of these games like others have just said.
So hand that rock off to the R's, eat some time off the clock!

I feel we were a team that needs to find our identity and run the damn ball more. and yes gus is a problem. hes just sooooooo inaccurate. land hopefully this time our D holds. can someone aswer me this though? If Reggie Howard got deamoted from nicekl back and dime back. then why is he on the field.

That's a good question. It seems like every time he's on the field we give up big passing plays.

Luck is a residue of design.
Besides, I don't call Schulters making a great play 'luck' or typical Florida summer weather 'luck'.
 
i dont agree wit the whole Linehan sucks thing though. He calls the plays, its thr players job to execute them. But i will say this We HAVE to run more R&R Backfield can be unstoppable
