Brad Allen’s crew ladies and gentleman - not a conspiracy that’s what he does

I wouldn't blame the refs for the reason we lost, but they did miss a few. As said, the face mask was missed, but I also some other stuff like one of our lineman's helmet being pushed off the back of his head. I thought that should have been illegal hands to the face.

Side note: Weird writing style. Do you think that article was written by chatAI or some other artificial intelligence program?
I agree that they are not the reason. They definitely contributed to the difficulty of the game.

There is no conspiracy, the NFL absolutely influences games. Is it rigged like WWE? No, but they absolutely use the refs to influence the outcome of games. Why wouldn't they? Just think about it - how much money would the league lose if the Super Bowl was Desmond Ritter vs Ryan Tannehill instead of Patrick Mahomes (and Taylor Swift) vs Jalen Hurts. Advertising money would plummet, merch sales would be down, viewership down, views on social media down. All of that costing the league tens of millions of dollars. Do you think all these owners got to the place they're at by leaving revenue to chance? Nope.

Truth is, the Miami Dolphins becoming a great team hurts their chances of having the darling Chiefs or Bills (who are doing a fine job keeping themselves out of the Super Bowl) in the limelight. In order for the Fins to make it all the way they'll have to take on darling teams and the refs on a weekly basis. Well, that or get one of their players to bang Taylor Swift or a Kardashian which I'm sure a few would be up to the task.

Last night was just the worst I've ever seen it though. Usually the refs will throw in a few meaningless flags here and there to at least make it look kinda fair on the final stats. We didn't even see that though. Holdings, false starts, PIs, and facemasks were all ignored right in front of the refs - then the exact same thing was called on the very next series on the Fins. It's insane, and honestly it really takes a lot of my passion away from the sport. But the NFL doesn't care about me. I'm not buying up crazy amounts of merch or posting Fins stuff on social. I'm just a guy who loves the competitiveness of the game, and that's no longer their target demographic.

Obviously, I am not happy with losing, but key injuries are taking their toll. Couple that with some sorry-ass officiating and did we really stand a chance? That said, I am always hopeful we can pull out the win. I did see some good things, so I am actually encouraged. It's a long season. As a young team, we aren't done growing. I think there are some things we can learn from this and in the long run will be better for it.
Yes, I think the defense is getting better, tough, like you said, without their top 2 starting corners.
I really think moving forward they need to focus on getting tougher on the interior DL.

Gambling influences officials - loyalty towards favourite teams influences calls too

That was a strange one last night refs didn’t care what grade the NFL was going to access them by

the officials were rather quick throwing flags on the Dolphins and didn’t even attempt to hide their bias?

Surely some of our penalties-were self inflicted thru poor discipline

The lack of two significant PI calls against Philly was astounding

It’s not good for bettors either

Likely that officials crew will be given first dibs to officiate the SB that’s seems to be how things work

Yeah the NFL doesn't want the most potent offense in the NFL in a super bowl because of the "DARLING" Bills. The NFL must not have gotten the memo because they have been to a super bowl in nearly 30 years. Give me a break. Cut the conspiracy bullshit.

Ok, so apparently you have problems with either reading comprehension or ability to put together a coherent opposition argument. Whenever you can clearly debunk my views I'll listen.

We still lose this game. We did not execute. Our O line was overwhelmed.

When did the Bills become the NFL Darling team? When did the Chiefs? Has the NFL been asleep at the wheel for the three Bill's losses to the JETS, PATS and JAGS? Why didn't the officials help them? Do they only help the Bills by messing around with Dolphin games? How's this work?

Also, I don't really understand why the NFL would wait until a Prime Time game to call in the fix. Seems like a really bad business plan to me. Or maybe we just got a really bad officiating made up of humans beings that had a terrible night.

Yeah, when I saw this Brad Allen guy on the field, I knew it would be a badly officiated game. He and his crew sucks. I know I'm in the minority on this, but I think the majority of the officiating crews in the NFL are pretty solid, but there are a couple where when I see the ref go on cam, I know some bs will occur.

Believe me, it could be worse. If you're a college football fan, ACC refs will drive you insane.

Go back and watch their games and notice the penalties given to help them, even though they lost. Go watch the win vs. The Giants.

Come on man. Everything you listed as "views" are "opinions". You can't debunk an opinion. You seem to think Desmond Ridder and the Falcons would be in the upper echelon of the NFC if it were not for the fix being in by the NFL through its officiating crews. You are of course entitled to your "opinion", but me and 98% of the public think your opinion is ridiculous.

Brad Allen and his crew are possibly the worst officiating crew in the NFL. They showed it again last night. If the NFL was more WWE as you say, why have the Giants and Jets sucked ass for almost a decade now? Would kinda make sense to have the largest media market thrive no? Hell, why not have any teams in the #2 market for 25 years? Again, not exactly marketing genius.

Carping on officiating is one thing. Everyone gets pissed when calls are missed or don't go their way. Thinking it is a diabolical scheme by the NFL? I guess just more of the same of life in America in the '20's. There's a conspiracy for everything. Logical explanations are just too boring, we need the conspiracy aspect to spicen things up.

The game went about how I thought, so I'm not so pissed about the result, but I counted 3 missed OL holding against Phila (blatant) two pass interference/holding that were missed (blatant).
And that call against Wilkins was rough, and obviously the missed facemask.
I get that a ref crew doesn't get every call right, but wow, this is one of those games that re-ignites the "fixed" debate. I'm not saying it was fixed, but it is, as a previous poster said, a bad look.
I don't think the NFL "fixes" the outcome as like wrestling. But I absolutely believe they try and dictate it towards their favored out come. They do this by assigning the right refs to certain games. The NFL knows the refs tendencies and they know there backgrounds. Last night they assigned at least 2 guys that would favor Philly. The head guy is a know hometown cooking ref. One of the sideline guys grew up outside Philly, he was the one who called a couple very bad calls and ignored some on Philly. The NFL has been doing it for years, it has gotten even worse with all the gambling partnerships. It is the NFLs in home point shaving system.

Why would the NFL potentially ruin their business model to help out the Bills so they can punish the most exciting football team currently in the NFL? Why? Miami is so much fun to watch. Speed everywhere. It would be great for ratings to have the number one offense in the Super Bowl. Miami is a much bigger Market than ****ing Buffalo too. I don't understand how you take some bad calls in a game and think its a conspiracy theory to help the Buffalo Bills of all teams. Again, has the NFL missed out on all this revenue since the Bills haven't been to the super bowl in 30 years. Hell the most popular team in the NFL, the Cowboys, haven't been to the Super Bowl in 25 years.
