A former 7th rd selection by the Packers. Released after 6yrs. where he recorded 258 tkls. and 10 sks. He was placed on injured reserve at the end of last yr. If he checks out medically(you have to wonder why he was released) he could provide some quality depth at LB

wasnt that the complaint of hickey last year? picking up injured players? i say no, im tired of picking up and gambling on injured players. Rarely works out. I say rarely because of grimes, otherwise i would say it never works out.

No harm bringing him in for the vet minimum. It's always great to have depth but if we do draft a Perryman type player, he may not be ready by game one. Special teams or veteran leadership are good reasons to consider him if he is healthy.

Thanks for the info. I did notice that his production had fallen off these last couple of yrs. I had no idea that his contract was that expensive. I still think he could be good depth, but I am thinking a min. contract and not the inflated one he signed with the Packers.

not sure what he would actually bring as a veteran leader after reading those articles a bit.

Is there going to be a thread for every player that gets cut?

Yeah lets keep bringing in injured players. Maybe we can have 25 players on IR by week 8 and set an NFL record for the most injuries.
