Brady Interview: Once again give the Fins no credit

If our starting CBs would have played, it wouldn't have even been that close. If both Will Davis and Michael Thomas had a full week of starter's reps, we stop him sooner too. Amendola and Edelman are very solid NFL WRs. Edelman, right now, is probably as good as Welker at this point and the other guy's not much worse. The Pats barely used Vereen, and I think Belicheck outsmarted himself with that move. That would be like the Saints purposely leaving Sproles out of the offense. You don't purposely neuter your own weapons and the Pats did with Vereen, IMO.
If the Dolphins had Patterson, Grimes, and Carroll all out there at the same time, we could really smother opponents' passing games.
As it stands now, we're in BIG trouble. Without Grimes and Carroll, I struggle to see us beating Buffalo.

Dang straight. Gonna be a dogfight -- gonna have to score 30 points, imo.

brady hasn't won **** since the spygate, he know father time is coming to visit to take him home

Brady doesn't owe you guys unbridled praise because you won the latest out of the last... seven?
He said you were a good team before the game. Now he's thinking about Baltimore, not looking to take interviews on "the greatness of the Dolphins." He's already given you your props.

He made the throws for the clutch comeback. WR's didn't meet him half way.

And you got a flagrant PI mauling our TE in the endzone. Should of been 1st and goal.

Last week this whole forum was complaining about the Patriots getting one their way with the Browns, but now want to ignore your own and call Brady a sore loser.

Hilarious.

It was a good game. Welcome out of the basement of the AFC. What's it like down there anyway?

Yeah.

Like "The Boston Screwjob" the refs put on us in Foxboro back in October? We were owed a PI call from the phantom pass interference call laid on us up there. Batting the ball...GTFO lol

He is 37 and I think I read that he expects to play another 4 or 5 years. He has never had speed but his ability to read a Defense won't suddenly drop off. I hate him but his ability to keep the Patriots winning in spite of key personnel losses (free agency, jail, injuries) is pretty incredible. He carries his team on his shoulders.
Still no place for his poor sportsmanship. He (and Belichick) don't give a damn about it, although they will probably never come out and say it.

I read that same statement about playing 4-5 more years but the reality is that very, very few QBs have been successful past 39. I won't be surprised if the Pats draft his replacement either in 2014 or 2015 so he can sit a year or two behind him and learn. Ted Thompson was a genius in drafting Rodgers while having Favre on the roster in what he deemed were his few final years.

and if the Phins corner are not out they are not even in a position to make that play...

You play with the guys you have....the Dolphins made do with "who dat" guys on the boundary...

That's true, but had we lost that game would the majority of folks here be crediting the Pats? ...or would we be blaming injuries, bad play calling, the refs, etc. I really don't understand at all this overriding need here for acknowledgement from people whose opinions, if I believe the claims made here so often, don't really matter. Do you really care what Brady thinks? I respect the guy as a player but his opinion about the Dolphins or anything else doesn't mean jack to me. That Brady doesn't acknowledge any improvement regarding the Dolphins doesn't effect the team or my life in any way at all. Whatever the Dolphins are or aren't gets proven on the field. There's no award or trophy given for the team that gets the most accolades from non-team players or talking heads.

They drafted Ryan Mallett from Arkansas a few years ago. I don't have a clue how good he is now, but he was a 3rd round pick and quite highly regarded in the year that Newton, Dalton, Locker, Ponder, Gabbert, Kaepernick, et al were drafted. He had the reputation as a bad boy who got into trouble off the field but presumably he has been coached by Belichick the Patriot way and has had a ring side seat observing Brady, so he should be decent. I wouldn't be jumping to the conclusion that New England will be drafting a QB next year.

I saw Mallet play live in Detroit in PS 3. He looked awful. Each time I have seen him in PS he has looked worse than Geno Smith. I hope the Patriots are foolish enough to re-sign Mallet and eventually have him take over but I have my doubts.

Don't get your hopes up. Without all the injuries to our defense (and even Hernandez killing people) we were set for a legit 2004esque dominant Superbowl run.
It's not gonna' be anytime soon that the Patriots are not the class of the AFC.

even pre injuries you were missing your camera operator for a 2004esque super bowl run though
