Brady: Porter's Words Motivated Us

This doesn't really matter to me. I've thought Joey Porter was washed up last season, but his trash talk wasn't the reason we lost.

I think Brady just wants to stick it to Porter. He/Patriots know this will eventually get back to him - they just want to bug Porter because Joey did NOTHING on the field - just want to kick him while he is down.

I really don't think the Patriots needed extra motivation to win a CRUCIAL DIVISIONAL GAME AT HOME.

Just Brady wanting to beat up Porter a little bit - pretty funny/smart, actually.
 
I call BS. Brady doesn't need JP trash talking to give him an edge to beat us.

I don't like JP talking....but I don't believe ie made a difference either way.
 
Can porter ever stfu please i knew he would motivate them, and he didn't do jack. Zero's across the board. If your going to talk **** atleast back it up.
 
Well than Brady doesn't think too highly of his team. If that's the case then we should all be extremely happy that a highly motivated and pissed off New England team could only beat us ( a team with no WR's who can catch) by essentially 7 points at home and coming off a BYE week. Do you think anyone looks at the 2 rosters and says, well Miami is better but their OLB really pissed off the Patriots which cost them the game? I doubt that, especially patsy fans who probably believe Porter's comments did have something to do with the game. The Patriots won because they are the better team but the gap is closing.

Really??? Just two days ago Fin fans were telling us Pats fans how great they were, and that they were the new Dogs in town. Now the Fins are just some crap team the Pats barely beat by 10 points? Really??? Well tell me how many points they needed to beat you by to make it a worthy win???:boohoo:

I think you've got it. They didn't need motivation to get up for this game, but pointing at Porter for firing them up has to get in his head a little bit for next time. It was pretty smart on Brady's part, agreed.

I've tried to see the bright side of having landed JP as a free agent, but the bottom line is I always thought he was a jackass with the Steelers and the only thing that's changed is that now he's our jackass. Oh, and his play has tanked, too.

God bless the athletes that shut up and play.

Well lets not go putting words in my mouth, the fins are far from a crap team but a realistic Dolphins fans knows NE is better right now. I certainly did. In all my threads leading up to the game I said if Miami can't run the ball and pressure Brady it will be a long day for them. They were able to run at times but couldn't really get consistent pressure on Brady and they lost. The Fins are far from Tennesse and Tampa Bay which I think is obvious, but a 3-4 team is hardly elite. Do you think Miami is better than the Patriots? This was a worthy win for New Enland vs a respectable team but they won because they are better not because of Porter's fat mouth. It's fun to think Porter's comments had something to do with the win and if you believe Miami is the better team than maybe they did.

Everytime Porter opens his big mouth I cringe. It's like he'd rather be a pathetic reality show blabbermouth drama queen than be a football player. If i was Sparano I would pull him aside and tell him he hasn't earned the right to shott off his mouth with a boxscore like that.

Pathetic.
