This pick wouldn't do much for the Dolphins. What has been one of the biggest problems with the Dolphins in recent years? The offensive line. Not that I think that Quinn would get sacked as many times as Carr did the first few years. Quinn whenever faced against athletic defensive lines he had trouble in college and the NFL isn't going to get easier. The Dolphins would be wise to not take Quinn and if they do I'll be dissapointed.

Only time will tell. I think if Quinn drops to #9 we should take him, but I also think we could get a QB in the 2nd round like Kolb or Beck who could have just as good a career.

:sidelol:

You got to love this!

So based on that logic, Tom Brady should have been a bust also.

Draft O-line,WR and DB this year, then save your number 1 pick next year for Colt Brennan!!!

First of all like a true Mets fan you're making no sense. Where in that did I compare crappy offensive lines to Tom Brady? Unsure.

It is also getting a little ridiculous to the point where Tom Brady's name is the only name brought up when defending a quarterback that one expects to struggle. For every Tom Brady there is in a draft, there are 3-5 Akili Smith, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Cade McNown..... well you get the point.

Maybe you're right, but Carr was in a pass happy system in college while Quinn led an offense much closer to the NFL ones.
:cooldude:

I think we need to let the draft come to us. I wouldn't trade up and lose valuable picks. If Quinn is gone I might even trade down to add a day one pick. Make sure to get at least two o-linemen day one and with one of the second rounders grab the QB the team has the highest conviction on be it Kolb, Stanton, Edwards or Beck. I'm starting to like a couple of the left tackles other than Thomas that we will be able to get. This is the time to anchor the o-line on the left side. If we could come away with Levi Brown and Doug Free and add a QB like Stanton that's a good day imo. Let other teams trade up, we have too many holes to fill on offense to be giving away picks.

So you're suggesting we tank the 07 season?

Brilliant! Just ****ing brilliant!

We have more than one pick, we will draft OL and a QB.

Dude, not for nothing but QB has been just as big if not a bigger issue as any position on this team for like only the past 11 or so years...

I get the feeling Quinn might be the next Rick Mirer.... If we take a QB, I'll just have to relax, trust Cam completely, and hope it turns out to be an awesome pick

My feelings exactly.

Do you think this team with ALL the subtrations (not even including Booker Yet!) is going to the playoffs?
I'm not suggesting TANK just rebuild....
