Who would you chose if we could chose from Brady Quinn or Jamarcus Russel or Calvin Johnson?


I would chose Brady Quinn we need a Qb and I just dont think Jamarcus Russel is better then Brady Quinn not that Jamarcus is bad I just think Brady Quinn is better. We really dont need to pick up a wide reciver in the first round we can get good wide reciver when useing are 2nd and 3rd round picks sence the draft is deep in wide recivers.
 
I think CJ has by far the most talent....but we obviously need a QB....I think if it were me I would take CJ and then hope to draft a guy like Beck or Kolb turns into a great future QB. Cleo Lemon would look like Dan Marino if he had CJ out there to throw it to. :tongue: ,,,,of course, we still need some lineman to give our QB the time to throw it...that's why we have to draft an LT and a Center.

If available Jamarcus with an improved running the whole field becomes our playgroud.

I think we need big play potential !

Quinn is the only realistic option if only slightly
 
The only reasons I think Brady Quinn is better is because he was brought up in an NFL type system and Jamarcus Russel only had really one good game it was in the Sugar Bowl agianst an Notre Dame defense that is not good.
 
They are all good, but without a doubt I would take Calvin Johnson. He is the best player by far and is the type of player that comes out once every 12 years. He is the definition of a cant miss player. While a QB is also a heavy need, which I really hope and know we will draft this year, which I know will be Quinn, CJ is just too good of a player to pass up.
 
When you are talking about taking one of these guys at our position (#9), you'd have to take CJ. Russell is a project. A physical freak at the QB position, but still a project. Quinn's value at #9 is pretty close to where he should be, based on his projected ability. CJ could come in this year and have an impact, whereas Quinn and Russell probably won't.

The over-riding facet of this argument is that for us right now....You'd have to go Quinn. We need someone who can start sooner rather than later and we certainly need a QB, moreso than a WR.

Well, if you would chose Quinn, what makes you think the Raiders won't ? Oakland's head coach has stated he wants Quinn too ..

And the Raiders have no reason to smokescreen anyone since they have the first choice in the draft .
 
Russell, I think Quinn will be a bust. Everybody thinks that Russell will be, but all of his flaws are fixable. Quinn's accuracy on the other hand really scares me. And this crap about Russell doesn't have drive has about the same merrit that Quinn can't win the big one. There both ridiculous.
