Brady Quinn signs

Im actually excited to see Quinn finally put on a fins uniform even if it's just for a few preseason games.

Finally, we have a real winner here at QB..............In his career, Brady Quinn has a completion rate of 53.8% for only 5.5 YPA and has thrown 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, with a QB rating of only 64.4 rating. And he has 1 TD rushing.

Tim Tebow while not great, is better. In his career (counting the Jets) he has had a completion rate of only 47.9 but has a 6.7 YPA average so while he has completed less, he has averaged more yards per attempt partly because he almost never dumped off the ball. And he has thrown 17 TDs to 9 interceptions with a QB rating of 75.3. And he has ran for 12 TDs.

This doesn't make sense unless he plans to be here all season. Just a few weeks ago he signed a broadcasting gig with Fox Sports

I have a feeling we may be trading Moore to the Texans after the horrendous showing of their QBs in game 1 of the preseason.

The Texans are tanking for back to bank #1 overall picks.

There's no other explanation for signing Ryan Fitzpatrick to be your starting QB when you had a guy (TJ Yates) who won a playoff game on your roster.

If the team told him "we only need you for a few weeks until everybody is healthy" and he doesn't start with Fox until September, why not take a two week job for good pay?

In appreciation for being kept updated, I try to thank you and our other newshounds for timely breaking news, but sorry Nubs, I just don't have it in me this time. :idk:

Preach your finheaven creed!

Yeah it seems like a no-lose scenario for him. If you play well, you either get tape out there and maybe somebody else gives you a shot, and if not, you made some scratch for 2 weeks of slingin' it around and then you go back to your day job.

This makes no sense unless Moore is heading to IR. If we cut him he could serve as an invaluable asset to our AFC east rivals during Dolphins week. Never put crap like this past Belechick or Rex.

We can't keep everybody we bring to camp. Quinn wouldn't be any more likely to go give the Patriots intell than Brock Jensen would be. And after being cut twice in two weeks I think Jensen might be a little pissed.
