For the older timers: with the arrival of Quinn can Slippery Slope's return be far behind?

Matt Moore had more positives in 6 games in 2011 than Quinn has had his entire career, despite being a first round pick who was given starting time to be "the guy". Quinn is there to push Moore, who may not be healthy, but as far as real competition, it would be idiotic for Moore to lose out.

The key word is 2011. Moore I guess is banged up and paid very handsomely. Maybe its the offense , who knows. he may be a camp arm, but all that matters is who can do what in 2014. Neither guy is an NFL starting qb

Considering that Moore's only under contract this season, what is the point? I love these guys who think the cap savings by cutting him is going to provide us some miracle player to add to the roster in that timeframe. We already have cap space. People would seriously rather have Quinn than Moore? smh

The cap space does us really no good at this point who can we sign I do think the cap space combined with possible injury concerns are more legit. We are once again carrying over quite a bit of cap and that just makes more to carry over.

If we work out restructures for Odrick and Clay our cap space will disappear fast. I don't know if I would do it for Odrick but we most definitely should lock Clay up sooner rather than later.

I agree with your assessment overall. I am a much bigger fan of Moore's than Quinn's but in fairness this is a new system and it's hard for me to imagine Moore being mobile enough to do what we've been hearing about in practice.
I am hopeful that if the staff has decided Devlin isn't the answer that they have just changed. The easiest thing to have done was to just stand pat (no pun intended).
I am also hopeful that we can find someone better than Quinn or Lobato. Quinn just doesn't seem that good to me. Maybe Lazor can do something with him and because they let go of Devlin I have confidence they will let go of Quinn if they have better options.

Quinn has been a bust of epic proportions but still has been 5 times the nfl qb that BEck was
and thank god we didnt. Although whats the difference anyways because he would have just been another bust in a long line of busted drafts.
