Last April Scam Cameron scammed us out of a potential star in Miami. :boohoo:

Now that SCam got canned. We can bring Brady Quinn to Miami. The Browns are going to extend and sign Derek Anderson long term. He is there quarterback. There is no point in keeping Brady riding the pine for another season it is only hurting the Browns and is not fair to Brady. Why draft another QB in the second round not knowing if he is going to turn out good or turn out like John Beck (BLEGH). Every time I see Beck it reminds me of SCAM and his 1-15 record.

So, I say send the 32nd pick overall and a conditional pick next year and trade for Brady Quinn :woot:

Keep the No.1 overall and draft Jake Long to be your Left Tackle. Vernon Carey moves back to Right Tackle and Satele stays at center. Resign Rex Hadnot and find a Left Guard in free agency.

Brady Quinn has 1 year of experience and during the one time he did play when Derek got hurt he was able to drive the Browns down the field and if it was not for a few dropped passes in the endzone he would have finished his first drive with a touchdown instead of a field goal.

Miami gets a future star to rally around and we get to solidify the OLine. At the end of the day we have both Ted Ginn and Brady Quinn plus a big monster left tackle!

If this don't happen we need to draft Matt Ryan No.1 caulksmen

No to Quinn.

No to Matt Ryan.

Stay with John Beck. We're not winning any super bowls any time soon, if John Becks really a bum, let him prove it next season. Then we can go draft another QB.

Personally I think Beck is gonna turn out alright.

Those things in bold are just not altogether there man. We have no interest in Hadnot, Long is not a LT in mnay peoples eyes, and if that is how you judge experience then Beck is 4 times as qualified to lead this team, right now.

Long is not a LT...in many peoples eye's? WHO? Can you tell me what so called football God...says so? He has played LT...he has a body like a TE...has long arms big hands and can lift 225 like no one else as a OL man in this draft. If he runs a sub 5.0 and runs a good enough 10 yd'er...would that change those peoples minds? Just what does he have to do?

Well they better sign Rex Hadnot. Hudson Hawk called him the best Olineman he had. Jake Long's position is left tackle. Plus I dont want to settle for a 6-2 200LB QB with small hands who likes to leave the ball on the ground and looks as confused as SCAM.

Dude, NOBODY can play LT. Just like NOBODY can play NT in the 3-4 and there's no such thing as a #1 WR.

Brady Quinn is a Brown, Cleveland is not going to trade him. The Dolphins passed on Brady. We got John Beck. He is our guy. He played some in a horrible year for our offense and whole team. Let the kid play, we don't know enough about Beck or Quinn to make any moves like that. Brady Quinn is going to ride the bench for another year and I predict a Charger-esk move and Cleveland going with Brady and letting Derek go.

In the mean time, let's just get behind our Quarterback.

As unrealistic as your scenario is, I would love it if we could correct Cam and Mueller's mistake and get Brady Quinn. Something tells me not many other folks are going to like your idea. A lot of people are still in love with the mistake (Opinion) known as John Beck.

Although I hope I'm proven wrong on that...

Must admit there is a differance between is Long a LT or is he an elite LT.
At worst Long should be a solid LT.

I see the media has gotten a hold of you. You're rooting for the two biggest media darling QB's I've seen in a long time. When a quaterback class is weak, the media tends to hype these mediocre guys into something their not to drive up ratings because people want to hear about quarterbacks and running backs, not linemen.

I like John Beck but i also like Brady Quinn if we could give the Browns a 3rd i would go for that but i wouldnt give them our Second we have more important Needs then QB

That and other pics as well as a recent "incident" in Columbus would strongly suggest that in terms of coming from behind, Quinn rises to the occasion, EXCEPT in big games that mattered. Has he EVER won any game he had to, unlike Beck? Cams "mistake" may or may not have been Ginn, only time will tell, but it sure wasn't passing on this overhyped, fundamentally flawed poseur of a QB. Thanks but no thanks. :shakeno:

So because I said that Long is not seen as a LT in many peoples eyes it means there has to be a football God involved. Whatever man. Yet you're acting like one, ranting on as though only a workout in shorts means anything, really, for an o-lineman.

He benched it 37 times, it is not like he set some record there is it?

Running a good split in the ten yard dash might mean he has the stright line agility, or he has just had good training in running the 40 yd dash. Also all the things that a guy can do in shorts, has absolutely nothing to with how he does when the pads come on, hence the name "workout warriors". And how can one truly evaulate a O-lineman in short and a T-shirt.

Oh by the way, Boomer has said he has doubts about Long's footwork. So if he falls into the "God" category you so desire then ask him. I just think of him as a guy with an opinion, and in this case we share the same view.

Amen!
