Brady Quinn vs Ted Ginn/John Beck

Im sure this thread has already been posted, but i cant find it anywhere...however who here honestly believes that our draft would be better off by gettin Brady Quinn instead of getting Ted Ginn and John Beck?
 
Um... I hope you have it backwards and you mean that nobody honestly believes our draft is better with Ginn and Beck than something like Quinn and Jarrett. Quinn is 17x the prospect Beck is and I seriously do not know why a BYU quarterback went at the top of the 2nd round. For those of you who don't know, BYU plays in a wide open shotgun offense that inflates the quarterback's statistics, and the best defenses Beck has seen at BYU were not very good. Considering the alternatives, our first 2 picks were bad, just bad.

Wrong. I wish people would make sure to check sources before spewing bad posts. BYU played 7 teams with a defense in the top 50 in college football this year, including Wyoming's defense ranked in the top 10 and sliced them 55-7. Here's the link to check out complete defensive stats.

Our QB Coach Terry Shea worked with Quinn to get him ready for the draft yet we had John Beck rated higher on our board. I think I'll defer to Cameron and Co on that decision.
 
completely disagree on quinn being 17X better than beck. If you watched some serious video on both, you would see what cameron was talking about in getting us a accurate Qb. and thats what we got in beck. If quinn was really a cant miss, sure fire prospect, i dont see why he lasted all the way till 23?

This is a double edged sword. It also is supposed to inflate interceptions. EVERYONE KNOWS HE WAS GOING TO THROW. And no one could stop or intercept him that is a big statement. He also has a great deep accurate arm.
 
i love how people liked dwayne jarrett now, can you say "mike williams"....the guy is a snail in an offense where he shined because he was NEVER double teamed or was consider the top offensive threat, check him out in 4 years, he'll be serving you, your burgers and fries
