If Brady Quinn would have stayed in school another year there would be no argument he would be the No.1 Overall Player in the draft.

Matt Ryan and Brian Brohm would not even hold a candle to Brady. It was just bad luck that he came out last year, and if it was not for the Marino Curse we would have selected him.

I still do not understand how we interviewed over 15 different coaches and came up with SCAM CAMERON. :shakeno:

Do you really believe what you are saying or is it just meant to get people all fired up?

For your sake I hope you are just trying to get people fired up. Otherwise you may have a problem.

Brady Quinn was a Senior entering the draft last season, so he could NOT have stayed in school another year.

I am not a big believer in "Draft Experts", but I have heard a few national ones, including Matt Mayock say Quinn would not be the top QB. Mayock said something along the lines that Quinn isn't even close to Matt Ryan's neighborhood. That is the same Matt Ryan that people have doubts about and who could slide in this draft. Honestly, there probably is not that much difference in skill level between Quinn and Beck. Quinn gets all the attention because of the school he went to.

Also, there is no way Miami trades for Quinn this year, or in future years. Let it go, Quinn will never be a Dolphin.

So far, Ginn has proved to be the better pick anyways.

Actually if Quinn would've went in the 2006 Draft he would've been drafted alot higher. Leinart would've been 1st overall in the 2005 Draft, and Brohm would've definently been a high 1st round pick last year.

Your man crush has been taken to another level..........stalker!!

Cleveland thought so much of Quinn that they blew 20+ million to resign Anderson. After seeing Quinn for a year, they wouldn't let DA go for a 1st and 3rd. They moved fast to lock Anderson up. Why do that if you're convinced Quinn is a franchise QB? (Answer: You don't. You let someone else sign Anderson and take a 1st and a 3rd.)

For me, it'd be a coin toss between him and Ryan as to who would be the #1 QB if Quinn came out this year. At least Quinn at ND had a TE who's considered draftable. IMO, neither is worthy of going #1 overall. But if Tuna and Co. think Ryan's their guy, so be it.

Time to move on...that was a full year ago. Can we please live in the present with who we have.

Many pundits said that last year in a year when he was actually drafted

They did it because no matter how much they see him in practice they cannot be convinced he's a franchise QB without real game experience. Resigning Anderson had nothing to do with Quinn. He was a Pro Bowler and looks like the real deal. In this league you need two quality QB's and having Quinn backing up Anderson is the best thing for him. He will have time to learn and most likely will be moved in the next year or two if Anderson continues the way he's going now. And, there is no way if Quinn and Ryan were in the same class that Ryan would go over him. Quinn put up record numbers at ND playing better competition in a pro style offense and was more ready to step in coming out of school than Ryan will be this year. Its not even close.

Not true. Adrian Peterson, Glen Dorsey, Jake Long, Chris Long, Gholston would all have been higher rated players. Possibly even Ellis

Who the hell really knows. Yes some years Quinn could have been the number one pick. There were alot of lesser players chosen over him last year.
Qb is a strange position in the draft and good prospects can fall a ways. Aaron Rodgers was a very good prospect that fell also.
